Almost as good as downtown spot. Super fancy dining room, but the downtown spot just has a little more charm. Food and service are exceptional. Reservations recommended!

I will start with our waitress, Mia. She was well mannered. She was quick but attentive. She offered suggestions and answered all the questions we had. The food came very fast, I did feel like the chillaquiles were a bit overpriced since they are mostly tortilla chips. I ordered one of the sampler and was pretty content with the flavor. The atmosphere is really what you pay for since the food is okay, but for the price you can do lot better.

My family & I love Cocina 35. Every time we're in San Diego, from Phoenix, 3 times a year, we HAVE to eat there. Sometimes twice in 1 wkend 😄 I see the comments from others saying the food is cold, maybe cause it's a lot colder on Coronado. We were there 2 weeks ago and it was 61 degreess, We were actually cold. Everything is delicious. Love the cafe de ollla. It's definitely worth the 5 hour drive

Great place but the first impression is what counts, first time here and upon arrival we were asked by hostesses at the front if we had reservation which we did not since the website never mention that it was recommended, once we answered, we were rudely corralled to the rope line at the right and told to move on like cattle, bad bad customer service, everything else mattered not, not the decor, the food or the service. Sorry!

You would find anything that you like here for a mexican brunch. They have a lot of variety and many drinks and mixed drinks to choose from even wine. Great service, but sometimes there is a long wait and may need to make a prior reservation. Not to pricey but not cheap.

Dear Cocina 35 Coronado Management,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the handling of my reservation on March 22nd. I had booked a table for six to celebrate my birthday and was required to leave a $90 deposit at the time of booking. Despite paying the bill in cash on the day of the celebration, my deposit has not been refunded.
According to OpenTable’s guidelines, the deposit does not automatically return; therefore, the restaurant is responsible for issuing the refund. It has now been over ten days, and I have yet to receive any communication or resolution. I have repeatedly tried contacting your restaurant via phone, but my calls remain unanswered regardless of the extension I select.
This is deeply disappointing and not the way I anticipated concluding what was meant to be a special day. I would appreciate it if you could resolve this matter swiftly by issuing my refund or providing an update on its status. If you require any further information, I am happy to provide it.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this issue.

The food was very cold, the service was very good, very pleasant, everyone else only gives you an hour and a half to eat, when it takes them about 30 minutes to serve.

It took us about 45-50 minutes wait to get in on a Monday, food is great, definitely need to come back and try a different dish.
