We had a work winter gathering and had a great time. The hosts were accommodating to reserve the lounge room for our party. It was spacious enough to hold a few table games. The host was very attentive, kind and patient. We all enjoyed ourselves very much!!!

I was visiting San Diego for my birthday and remembered that I had saved this restaurant after being suggested their TikTok’s from the owner’s daughter who also worked there several years ago. Came here for my birthday and it definitely matched expectations. We got mid day reservations at 3pm and it was not full. I ordered the jalapeño mezcal cocktail which was spicy and good. We ordered ceviche robalo and salmon de mole and both was absolutely delicious. My friend mentioned it was my bday and they brought us a large slide of tres leches cake.

I had a fantastic experience at this place! There were vegan and vegetarian options for days. I had the Quesadilla with mushroom tinga, and it was one of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever eaten. They served it with beans and rice, which made for a fantastic portion! They also had a great selection of cocktails with non-alcoholic drinks clearly marked. Highly recommend this place!
Vegetarian options: If you eat eggs, they have a large selection of brunch options. They also have quite a few vegan options! I tried the quesadilla with mushroom tinga, which was fantastic!

I recently dined at Cosina De Barrio and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow, with our server seemingly forgetting about us for long stretches. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor.
To make matters worse, the ambiance was noisy and chaotic. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
