Hard to explain how good this place is. On vacation and we chose to come here both days while in town, despite so many good alternatives. Very friendly employees, exceptionally good food, and nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere.

Excellent bread and pastries. That baguette! Wow! So good, we had to break it open and eat right there - warm, fresh and delicious. The breakfast sandwich is also really good. Great location. Friendly service. What else can you ask for?

Our experience here was mixed. The cashier was very friendly. The iced butterscotch latte was really good. The cappuccino however, tasted a little like burnt coffee beans and just wasn't good. We didn't try any of the bread. The inside of the store was cutely decorated, but it gets pretty loud when it's busy. Probably not the best place for reading or remote work.

I’m not exaggerating when I say EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve been here they mess up my order someway. Missing items/ wrong items, 1 time extra item but with ingredients I’m allergic to. This place is good but they have a ton of incompetent employees. I once had one start talking back to me for something that was a simple fix and I will say the owner kinda stopped her…. Still. Frustrating and for the price? Better bakeries by far!

I have gone here so many times because I work in Liberty Station and their food is good, when they get it right. I would say out of the 10x I have gone 4 of them were done incorrectly. And because I am going back to work, I do not have time to go back and make them fix it.

Today I asked for a veggie Cobb and asked to sub the roasted tomatoes for fresh-I got roasted. I asked for pepperoncinis and got charged for them, but didn’t get them.

It is whoever makes the sandwiches that is the issue. It looks like the sandwich is always entered correctly, it just doesn’t come out correctly.

The other complaint is that sometimes the service sucks. Sometimes I am standing in the pickup area for over 10 minutes with employees coming and going and no one’s stops to just hand me the sandwich bag that I can see from where I am standing.

To sum it up, the food is good, but the service could use major improvements.

It was really good but they gave us the wrong coffee and the chocolate croissant only had chocolate in the smallest part and the part without the chocolate didn’t taste good. But the tomato soup was amazing

You will never go wrong on this store, service is great the food delicious and so far they have not disappoint.

The food: YES! The best bakery I know in San Diego. If I wasn’t lucky enough to live close I would drive here for BREAD. The cheese scones!
The staff is great. They are fast and efficient and also cool and calm. Professional even when it is cranking in there!
I come regularly and Dania (manager) runs the team with cool calm professionalism. She has her eye on everything but is never ruffled. When something goes wrong she easily makes it right.
Strong recommend and Christmas bonuses for EVERYONE!

The food is here is great. My go to is the Turkey Cobb on Rosemary, my gf loves the Roast Beef. And all of the cookies, muffins, and baked goods are great but the Chocolate bread is perfection. This place can get very busy and the seating is minimal but defintely worth it. Workers are always friendly and on their game.
