Recently went back for the first time in a few years and the food and drinks were not good. I ordered porchetta, and was served a piece of pork belly that was tender but essentially unseasoned. Not like any porchetta I’ve ever had, no herbs to be found. The best item on the plate was the broccolini. We also ordered a seafood dish, the shrimp were beat up (poor quality) and overcooked. A mocktail that was supposed to have citrus flavors was just a tiny glass of concentrated...
I lived in Naples, Italy for 2 years and Cori Pastificio Trattoria is as authentic as you'll get in San Diego. Sicilian influence with a modern touch. My picture didn't do it justice. Came to celebrate my birthday and ordered an item from every category of the menu:
1. Apperitivo- RICCIOLA Japanese hamachi crudo, light easy starter to get pallet going well seasoned and pickled onions.

Service was ok, we ended up waiting a very long time to order or main course and for the check. Atmosphere was ok but people are packed in pretty tight. Food was meh. Not much flavor nobody in our party of 5 would go back for the food.
