Had a cold, terrible and overpriced burrito.Shop was full of teenagers, thinking they pump this garbage out for the deep pocket Point Loma high school kids? Maybe I caught them on bad night, either way it sucked 🤷🏾♂️🫡

DO NOT COME HERE! This place served the most disgusting and poorly prepared Mexican food I’ve ever experienced. Everything tasted microwaved and lacked freshness, flavor, and authenticity. The tortillas were rubbery, the meat was dry, and the sauces were bland. It’s clear there was no care or effort put into the food. If you’re looking for quality Mexican cuisine, avoid this place at all costs—you’ll regret it. 🤮

I waited for my order for more than 10-15 minutes, asked the cashier twice, he didn’t even check it, and all this time the order was ready on their table, I don’t understand why they delay people like that and force them Waiting so long, constant lies about 5-10 minutes! Guys, learn to count time correctly!

This shop is always a great choice. The food is authentic; the staff is quick and helpful and the decor is inviting. It has been a neighborhood favorite since 1974. One thing is if you don't want to wait in a long line avoid being there between 3 and 4 pm because that's the time the high school kids get out and descend upon Cotijas in throngs!! Very lively and active when the students are in the shop, lol

The service sucked today. I ordered a combo. She got it wrong. When I told her it was a combo she said that not what you said. I said we'll can you make it one. She said No but you can order rice and beans for 3+$ more. Wouldn't fill my order that she messed up. I get the exact same thing every time I go. And I also pointed to the combo when I ordered. Ppl just lazy. The service is usually good

Ordered veggie burritos and the size blew our mind away. We could only finish 1/2 of it. Great salsa bar, horchata wasn’t overly sweet. Very vegetarian friendly!

A very large menu. We liked everything we tried - Carne asada burrito, Baja shrimp burrito and shredded beef fries tacos. Every time we are in SD, we come here.
Best taco shop in San Diego.
