This place really needs to work on their customer service skills. Charging an 18% gratuity to your check automatically so then they don’t prioritize customer service. I tried to flag down a server 3 times and was ignored blatantly. Then when the manager came over he told me how busy they were with 7 tables in the restaurant. With 5 servers running around. Also they charge you sales tax on the gratuity. Seems a little shady…. The food was phenomenal. The cooks know what they are doing. Everything came out fast. The music was great. The staff just lacks basic empathy and customer service skills. I’d love to come in and run a guest interaction boot camp with your staff. I’d say work on that…. Your guest are your blood and what keeps you pumping. Betty was a great waitress but unfortunately I won’t reward negative behavior from an entire team. That’s a reflection. Food for thought.

I ordered an SNS at crab hut for Valentine’s Day with a lobster tail and they forgot to add the corn, when I tried to call they were closed and when I came back the next day HD the manager or supervisor refused to remake my complete order sbd said he can only give me a partial refund for what they messed up! he was completely rude and non accomadating wasting my time and when I requested to get my order remade he only remade part of it as if they didn’t mess up my order!! will not be returning due to poor customer service and poor accuracy of my order. HD is the worst supervisor at crabhut and should be fired.

They put too much clams, meatless crabs, and tiny crawfish in the seafood bucket. For $140 more, I get absolutely nothing. Very bad experiencing! It’s sad because I have been a very loyal customer for many years. Time to explore other options I guess!

I absolutely love Crab Hut! I have for the longest time. After not going for over a decade, we went for my mom's husband's 81st birthday and it did not disappoint! I love the messy style of all out on the table and the birthday crab hat!

Service was excellent. I got the oysters as an appetizer which were super fresh. The crab boil was not as spicy as I would have liked, and while the seasoning was tasty, it didn't transfer to the crab. The sausages were kielbasa (traditionally should be andouillie). The portions were pretty great, especially on the kids meals. Food was pretty good, but for the price, I prefer Joe's crab shack.

I recently dined in at Crab Hut with a friend. The service charge of 18% is fine and expected, and the dine-in food was decent. The shrimp wasn't the freshest but still okay to eat, and the service was adequate. However, I ordered two pounds of shrimp to go, and the experience went downhill from there. The shrimp I took home was extremely disappointing – the taste and texture were far from fresh. The meat was mushy and had a starchy, almost potato-like taste, which was honestly pretty unpleasant and a clear sign the shrimp was far from fresh. Really disappointing and not what I'd expect from a seafood restaurant.

The potatoes in my bag tasted old and did not taste right. The server was great! I dislike the fact that they charge you 18 percent gratuity, whether its a good or bad server? I will not eat where i am forced to tip any more! Bill was 170 but paid $213????? It's definitely not worth it!!

I visited this place again after almost a year. A year ago, there was a wait of over an hour on a Friday night, but this time, only 4 tables were occupied. I thought it was strange, but I still went in with high expectations. However, unlike a year ago, they told me that I had to agree to a clause that I would have to pay an 18% service charge before ordering before I could order. I usually pay an 18% to 20% service charge when I eat at restaurants on Friday nights, so I agreed and ordered. However, the staff were talking among themselves even though there were hardly any customers, so they didn't come when I called them, and they didn't give me the things they were supposed to bring. I had to ask 3 times to get a container to throw away the crab and shrimp shells, and I had to ask twice to get the bill. They didn't do enough to get an 18% service charge. That's when I realized why this restaurant was so empty. I will never visit this place again.
