Worst crab place i ever been to in my life. I dont mind paying money if the food was good quantity suck so bad over price I order same thing at other crab place and pay less eith higher quantity. The service fee was ridiculous for 2 people and the service suck. I will never come back here i should had went to my usual spot.

Delicious food, friendly staff, great service! There is a full bar too. The only issue here is the parking, made a few rounds of the lot before finding a spot, but it is so worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. FYI, they charge an 18% gratuity fee on every check, but they give excellent customer service.

A little pricey for less food, the service was great! They hit you with a $25 dollar gratuity, which sucks. You won't find that out until the bill comes! Other than that the food was excellent! Stop gouging the customers!

Good food, good service, but only gave 2 star because they have an automatic 18% gratuity to your check whether you dine alone or are w someone (not a larger party). Was our first time there and last time there because of the gratuity policy. I have no problem tipping 20% for good service, but to me, this place forcing me to tip a certain amount is ridiculous, and we definitely won't be going back to any Crab Hut as long as they have this policy. Plenty of other crab places around that don't do this! I eat out every evening and this is the first restaurant that I've been to that does this.

This is my favorite restaurant in San Diego for over 20 years. No seafood boil place I’ve tried anywhere compares to the flavors here. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the full house flavor and the crab poppers. Sometimes they are out of my favorite Dungeness crab, but the snow crab is a worthy substitute. If they have the green mussels, don’t miss them. The head off shrimp is convenient. So messy, but so fun and delicious!!

The food was great. Got the house blend medium king crab boil. It was so good. The waitress was amazing even though we came in a bit later than we would have wanted. She was amazing. I highly recommend the boil and the jalapeño popper curds.

I came to CrabHut with some coworkers to enjoy seafood boil but was a lil sad to find out all their seafood is boiled with sausage that contains pork. It says so on the menu as well, but I didn't check it before getting there. I ended up getting the jambalaya (no sausage), and a side of boiled corn. We also had some chicken wings to share. Everything was mid to me, except for the boiled corn that I really enjoyed! My coworkers enjoyed their meals.

This place really needs to work on their customer service skills. Charging an 18% gratuity to your check automatically so then they don’t prioritize customer service. I tried to flag down a server 3 times and was ignored blatantly. Then when the manager came over he told me how busy they were with 7 tables in the restaurant. With 5 servers running around. Also they charge you sales tax on the gratuity. Seems a little shady…. The food was phenomenal. The cooks know what they are doing. Everything came out fast. The music was great. The staff just lacks basic empathy and customer service skills. I’d love to come in and run a guest interaction boot camp with your staff. I’d say work on that…. Your guest are your blood and what keeps you pumping. Betty was a great waitress but unfortunately I won’t reward negative behavior from an entire team. That’s a reflection. Food for thought.
