The Fire Spot Reviews
Definitely a great spot to kick back, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend some quality time with friends!
Tasty all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue at The Fire Spot on Convoy Street! So fun, and so tasty. We got the original plan which was $38 per person. We enjoyed the house choice steak, marinated short rib, marinated lamb, miso pork belly, garlic finger meat, and button mushroom. They have Sapporo and other beverages available. Friendly and attentive staff. Recommend!

The Fire Spot is a popular restaurant in San Diego that offers a unique charcoal grill experience. It has become a favorite among many, known for its delicious meat selection, including a premium option. Customers praise the high-quality meats, such as skirt steak, prime cut, short ribs, and marinated beef, which melt in the mouth. The charcoal grill adds a special flavor, cooking the meats quickly and making them taste even better. The restaurant also offers a wide range of flavorful side dishes, and the meat is consistently tender and delicious, even at lower price tiers.
While the appetizers could be improved, the taste of the main dishes makes up for it. The friendly and attentive staff, along with the clean, local establishment and good atmosphere, contribute to the overall positive experience. The exhaust system works well, ensuring clothes and hair won’t smell like BBQ afterward.
The restaurant is particularly renowned for its Korean BBQ, which customers praise for its quality and variety, making it a top choice in the area. Though the place can be busy and the wait long, most agree it’s worth it. Even when arriving late, such as around 9:30, customers report quick seating and fast service. Many have enjoyed the extensive options available, especially on the deluxe plan, with some mentioning they ate more than they expected and plan to return. Overall, The Fire Spot is highly recommended for anyone looking for the best Korean BBQ in San Diego.
