About Min Sok Chon

Min Sok Chon is a lively Korean restaurant that caters to night owls and those seeking a vibrant atmosphere. The menu features a variety of Korean dishes, including the kimchi jjigae, which has a broth that tastes strongly of kimchi, though some reviewers found it lacking in meat and tofu. The restaurant is known for its late hours, making it a convenient option for those working long hours. The dining experience is enhanced by the restaurant's cool, hut-like interior and the availability of private karaoke rooms, which are large but not fully soundproof. Customers enjoy the flavorful fries, sweet and cheesy corn cheese, and delicious short ribs. The seafood stone bowl is also a popular choice, providing a generous portion that can feed multiple people. The portions are generally large, and many dishes are made to be shared, resulting in plenty of leftovers for diners. The japchae is well-seasoned and not too greasy, while the bulgogi wings are tasty and sticky. However, the potstickers and soft tofu soup received mixed reviews, with some dishes having overwhelming flavors. While the service is described as friendly and attentive, the music volume can be quite loud, catering to a younger crowd of college students and young professionals. Overall, Min Sok Chon offers a lively, late-night Korean dining experience with a menu that includes both hits and misses.

The food at Min Sok Chon is really good, and the overall atmosphere is lively and fun. Since it’s more of a Korean drinking spot, it can get pretty loud, but that’s also part of the vibe.

One thing I really like is that every table has a button to call the staff or request the check, which makes the service very quick and smooth. You don’t have to spend time trying to get someone’s attention.

The only downside is the parking. The lot is a...read full review
The portions are large but the food is amazing! I loved the cheese corn, seafood pancake and seafood hot stone!
We tried their goat soup, beef ribs and soju. Portions were good, the beef soup came in a wok on top of a stove. Their complementary sausage, fish cake, mashed potatoes, spicy cucumber, and rice were nice to have. Ambiance was the best thing to me - quiet, traditional, and not overcrowded.
