It's difficult to have a conversation due to the club music and the facilities of a college town makgeolli restaurant in the 90's... This is definitely not a meal that travelers can comfortably stop at. This is a place where locals eat Korean food and drink alcohol. Even the food doesn't taste good... I come to the western United States and go to Korean restaurants every day because of my baby, but this place is the worst.

Food is great if you can share the price with a lot of people. Expensive!

Went with a large party around 5 PM and wasn’t very busy which was nice. The Seafood Pancake, Tteokbokki, Fried Chicken and Bossam were definitely the highlights of our meal. Portions were very large and generous. Atmosphere is very dark and karaoke-like, and service was pretty attentive.

Had a fun time with a large group of 13 people. We rented karaoke room #2 ($60/hr with 3hr max) and ordered food and drinks for the group to share. The portions are LARGE and definitely could be easily shared between 2-3 people. We had steamed dumplings, fried rice, spicy shrimp, chicken bulgogi, french fries, spicy parmesan fries, fried chicken, calamari, chicken wings and a couple of other sharable dishes. With individual drinks, a bottle of Chardonnay and a large bottle of Maker's Mark, the total bill was $1,050.00 (after tax and tip), so it wasn't cheap. The only knocks on the restaurant are two things: 1) karaoke machine and song selection device was entirely in Korean.. if we didn't have a native speaker in the group we would have been lost, and 2) the wait staff - while friendly - screwed up our order on 3 different things even though we wrote it down and reviewed it with them. They corrected the errors eventually but it did take time and we had to follow up to make sure the fixes were done. All in all, we had a great time, and while expensive, we would go back again.

It is a good spot for a date. The seating area at the booths provides some privacy for a couple. The security person was so kind and he recognized us although that was our second visit. The food is served in a reasonable portion, and they have plenty of options for high protein meal. I ordered a bossam and the homemade dumplings. Bossam was delicious, and the dipping sauces were great. I personally don't like the dumplings because of the ingredients in them. I thought they could have used beans or rice as the filling, but I'm not so sure about that. The dipping sauce for the dumpling was too sweet for me. Overall, it was a great experience.

More of a bar than a restaurant. It's dark in here. The servers were friendly. The fried chicken was pretty good. The spicy garlic parm was interesting... The bossam was alright. It's expensive for what it is it though. It's better than I thought.

Came here for dinner on Friday. Ambiance is on point. Loved the feel, dim, cozy booths, open tables in the middle for later parties. Loved the vibe. Received excellent service. They have buttons on the table. Push for service and someone always came without much of a wait. We arrived at 6pm and there was no wait to l for tables but when we left, it was much busier. We ordered so much food and everything was good. I loved the soju on happy hour prices, with so many flavors. Parking can be a battle but that's too be expected around the Convoy area. I'll be back.

I'd give a solid five-star rating just for the awesome budaejungol experience. And let's not forget the super cool call button that summons food, the bill, or my all-time favorite: water! Plus, the music and vibes were absolutely on point! ?????????

Beef soup is a bit sweet. Don't know it should be sweet like that or it's just about me. Fried calamari is so

Absolutely love this place. Terry the security guard is the heart of Min Sok. Cheap food and cheap drinks. Nothing more I can ask for. Love the popcorn chicken and bulgogi fries, great for sharing. This place gets packed fast so expect a wait if you're coming on a weekend night.

The setting of the establishment was chill and fun. Whether you are in a big group, two people, or just by yourself, this place looks like a great spot to eat! The wait wasn't too bad on a busy Friday Night (just around an hour). The service was pretty quick with buttons on the side already set to what kind of service you want! Now the food here was the bomb! The Galbi was a must-have! The sides were even tasty! There were these flavored sausage bits here that I had to get again and ask for more! The Bimbimbap was a great side to eat with the beef! The other meat our group got was the chicken wings! We could choose our flavors, which were distinct and memorable for a couple of reasons. The Spicy Habanero Mango was my favorite and the flavor that was the best of the three for me. The Original didn't disappoint and was a good choice for another flavor. The Spicy Fire Nutty was where I felt we could've chosen a better one. It was spicy but not flavorful in a good way for me. Other than that I'm happy we found this spot to eat that is also open late as well!

I've been here several times with friends and we've always had a good time! The music is the most interesting part... it varies from head banging edm to drake but overall still makes for a great experience. I tried the bibimbap this time and it was good! Spicy, but very tasty. The soju here is great too. We usually get the alien juice and it never lets us down.
