A quaint shop tucked in a small almost hidden strip mall, i wish it had visibility from the main road so people can see it otherwise this place is perfect, atmosphere is that of a malt shop, a large selection of glass bottled sodas and refreshments which makes you want to drink some, they currently are selling dubai chocolates which are pretty popular and are limited time they also have Easter themed pastries/ candies for sale. C’s has the best milkshakes in San Diego. Period.
For 2 years running my family of 4 would do a ‘milkshake challenge’ where we would pick 8 of the best milkshake places in town and would over a 2 week span individually rank them. The first year C’s won hands down. The following summer we picked 7 more- including the previous years champ C’s. Same results- C’s were the winner among all of us. Visiting from out of town and I found the environment very welcoming and homely. My blue ox blt was fantastic and their diverse spread of root beer and ginger beer/ale will have me coming back 🤤
