As a Texan who’s indulged in hundreds of bbq joints around the states, I’ll just say what was awesome and what was simply okay.
Awesome: Ribs (on the slim side), cornbread, beans, loaded potato, pecan pie. Mac n’cheese is elite!!
Meh: brisket( little too fatty), pulled pork (lackluster), toast was not from Texas.
(2) orders of 2 meat combo plate/ with pecan pie. (2) extra sides and extra toast. 2 whiskey drinks. Came out to $125.00

All the food is killer (good). Wine Wednesday is the best deal in town. What makes this place is the service. Alicia is the absolute best bartender this side of the Mississippi.

This place could not have been better 12/10. Get service, food was INSANE, and I am not sure why there isn’t a line out the door. Incredible.

Update 10-17... still great! Most of the time I get take out. This time ate inside. Service was wonderful! Great specials, friendly and efficient service. And of course the food is still very good. Great food, great staff. Another win for the Cohn restaurants. Although they did get my to go order slightly wrong a couple times the food is excellent.
Parking: Parking lot a little tight and often almost full. Street parking also a bit crowded.

Was waiting for my to-go order I placed and they told me I could not be in the To-Go area while waiting for my order? Non-sense. Food was okay. **This was during COVID**
Went back again yesterday 9/29 with some friends and have to shout out the great service and food that was delicious!

The aptly named place has delicious food, creative cocktails and a good atmosphere. Lunch time wasn't too busy on Saturday, and the service was great. Try the street corn.

This place has FLAVOR! We got the plate for two. The brisket was the best meat I've had. So tender. The street corn was a twist on a childhood favorite. The gluten free bread was great.
Service was amazing.
Dietary restrictions: They were knowledgeable about gluten intolerance. I did get a reaction though:( It kinda felt like cross-contamination (vs the reaction i would get with something actually containing wheat) but i could be wrong. I know BBQ sauce often have flour as a thickener. I forgot to verify. I'll try calling and update this.
