Probably the best dim sum in town. Lively and loud. Lots of parking.

Food was ok. Definitely felt like it had been made a while ago and kept in the heater. And the duck wasn't all that great, kinda bitter

Just wow, food carts coming around before you even see the menu. Great speed on getting out hot fresh food. People get in n out quick. Service was friendly and very fast. Thank you!

Went to this place around 12:30 p.m. for lunch. There were more servers than customers, but they were so hesitant to change my plate, not even once. Most of them just walked around with their hands behind their backs. The food cart came by once and never returned. I won’t be going back.

Always wanted to go here and finally did for my daughter’s birthday. The food was good, we especially liked the peking duck. The meat was so tender! The service was nice and we left super full and had some leftovers. Dim sum is always nice with a large group because you can order and taste more.

The dim sum was good. Our eggroll meat which was chicken was pink and our beef rolls were still pink as well. We told them and they said that was cooked. So mixed feelings on this place as pink meat isn’t cooked unless it’s a steak or burger and it’s still brown on the outside. Lo

We went around 2:30 pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was not busy. The service was prompt and the staff were attentive and the food came out timely.
We ordered shumai, bbq pork steamed bun, shrimp and chive pan-fried dumplings and shrimp and chive steamed dumplings. Plus jasmine tea.
Our favorites were the shumai and the shrimp and chive steamed dumplings. All the the dumplings were packed with the fillings and flavorful. I appreciate that they were not overly seasoned or too salty. For the pan-fried dumplings, though it was delicious, I jist expected more crispiness on the bottom.
For the bbq pork buns, the bun was very moist and soft and good proportion between the filling and the bun. The bbq wasn’t unnaturally bright red as they typically are at other places, which I appreciated. But the filling felt mushy and mostly saucy, not much meat to chew. I would’ve like it more meaty and less saucy.
The pricing was reasonable given the quality of the food. Their tip suggestion was also reasonable and it was based on the subtotal, not total ;)
The place looked modernized and rather clean.
If you’re looking for exquisite, artisanal dimsum, this wouldn’t be it. But if you like homey, decent quality dimsum, this place will satisfy you.
Dimsum is served all day, everyday, but the cart service ends at 2 pm.

Totally lovely - food, staff, and service. It was my first time eating at Diamond Palace as my cousin recommended them for Dimsum lunch. Now I have a spot for Dimsum whenever I'm in San Diego.

The food was phenomenal. My husband has been looking for Hong Kong style noodles (fried noodles) for forever and hasn’t found it in San Diego until this place. The waiter that brought our food was funny and vibes all around were good. I highly recommend the Pork Siu Mai and steamed BBQ Pork buns off the Dim Sum menu!
