Strip mall Greek food. I had the gyro sandwich ($14.50 July 2025). It was OK, but skimpy on the meat and the tzatziki was a little bland. Not fine dining, but acceptable if you are here and craving Greek, but perhaps try a different dish.

Tried it first time today. The platter I ordered was supposed to have pastitio as one of the 4 items and it was missing. The spanakopita was hot and crispy and delicious. The moussaka was almost stone cold. The gyros was okay, but not remarkable. It was all dumped into a regular take out container all mashed together and on a bed of lettuce that was wilted by the time I got down to it. The fries were barely warm, but tasty. Most of it was very bland. Haven’t tried the salad yet. Very disappointed.

Hidden San Diego gem. Tucked away in Clairmont mall. One of the last non-franchised family Greek restaurants left in the county. Great menu, fantastic food. Staff is always friendly, and food is authentic and delicious. Relaxing atmosphere. Roomy and spacious. Patio dining is lovely. They never make you feel rushed or unappreciated. Excellent for parties and events. Try the Greek desserts. Heaven.

I’ve had hundreds and hundreds of yuros and this is the driest tasteless one that was extremely expensive.

I love the owner. She is so great! Seriously. She is super friendly and warming. The food is delicious. Every time i come, the food is wonderful. The fries too. The gyros are (yee-roh, like how Mexicans roll their "R") are the best in San Diego. The meat is not dried out and burnt.
If you don't like this place, something is wrong with you!

Terrible lunch special, it had literally two tiny strips of the gyro meat, yes the lunch special is a deal but no where on there advertisement does it say it’s a smaller portion. Overall the flavor was lacking and the only thing good were the fries.

Looks like gyro but doesn’t taste like one. Not going back for sure. Nice service though!

Man, this place used to be my go-to for gyros and other Greek food. The quality and portion size has gone way down (gyro meat is still top notch, the rest, not so much) and the prices have gone way up. We used to live closer, but now have to go out of our way to get there, so we probably have made our last trip to Dinos. It's a shame, I ate lunch there every weekday for years.

Spent almost $50 for two sandwiches and one plate. Falafel sandwich was edible, the only good thing about it was the pita bread. Falafel was overcooked. The gyro sandwich meat was not appealing looking, kind of washed out looking meat so put it in our air fryer to make it look normal. One pale tomato slice and thin slice of onion. The chicken gyro plate came with a wilted looking salad, rice that was flavorless and chicken gyro that was so so. For almost $20 for that plate they can do better. Way overpriced. Will not go back. Used to come here before Covid and the food was good. Not sure what has happened to the restaurant.
