What a hidden gem! I attended an opera night that included dinner and fabulous singing throughout the evening. Anyone would love this whether you are an opera fan or just looking for a fun evening with talented and charming singers.
Just went to 3rd Diva Diva Opera dinner show. Was absolutely wonderful!!!! I smiled the whole time! If you attend one of these, you will NOT be disappointed. Just fabulous!!!!

Amazing experience at the dinner show. The food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was captivating and quaint at the same time. But most of all, the music was simply spectacular and in the space, it was a one of a kind experience in San Diego. I will go again and again! A customer verbally harassed me in front of the owner yesterday, unprovoked, as I stood behind him while he ordered. This white man turned to me and aggressively asked me âwho let me in here.â He didnât say just kidding, nor did he laugh. I was especially uncomfortable by this âmicroâ aggression, given the state of the world. Is Jim Crow back? Did I miss the memo? Because the owner didnât say anything to this regular that she was clearly familiar with, other than, âyouâre gonna scare my customers,â followed by a nervous chuckle. The owner didnât apologize to me or acknowledge what had just occurred in her business right before her eyes. I tried to brush it off, despite how belittled I felt but I realized it was blatant racism when the same man told me to âget out of hereâ as he walked out of the store, again, unprovoked. No one said a thing. If youâre black or brown or a minority in HILLCREST, of all places, thereâs no need to come here given all the other options. I didnât want to leave a review about this experience, but clearly this is a time where we must speak up against oppression. These âjokesâ arenât funny.

What a lovely place! Sort of a NY cabaret experience because it's tiny and lively. How can they possibly throw a dinner party (cooking it all, serving and hostessing) while singing Verdi and Tosca?! You have to be there to believe it! Thoroughly enjoyed the Opera Dinner during the Xmas holiday.

We were invited by a neighbor to a dinner show at Diva Divo Café, and it was such a wonderful experience. The owners, Victoria, and Rosario, who perform opera during the evening, are absolutely amazing. The combination of good food and live opera made the night truly special.
I highly recommend Diva Divo CafĂ© if youâre looking for a unique dinner show and a memorable evening.
