I love this place. The food is good and the prices are great for the amount of food they give you. After they closed Trujillos on El Cajon Blvd [it was better than the one by state, just saying], Don Roman is the place to go for a burrito. Quesa California for the win. They have soft drinks, agua frescas and bottled/canned drinks. Ordered the Surf 'turf platter w/all the toppings. They give you a lot! Very good flavor, the beef is tender & the shrimp is grilled. All on a bed of fries. Small seating area but got fortunate to get a table. Excellent service, served w/a smile 😃.

I came to Don Ramon’s for the first time last night. I was very surprised by how good my tacos were. But first—the store was immaculately clean, and they had a hand wash station, self-service water station, and salsa bar with 6 different homemade salsas! Epic!
