Stumbled in at this amazing donut shop while on vacation from Utah. This place hits the spot!! The owners and staff are super nice and the donuts are fantastic.
Highly recommend stopping in to say hello and taste some of the best donuts in town. @faithful_forker

I love this place! I don’t remember what they call the donut with chocolate filling and chocolate chips on top—but it was one of the best donuts I have ever had.

This Birthday weekend we were on a Quest for Apple Fritters. All weekend we couldn't find one in Downtown San Diego, but our waitress Mia @intercontinentalsd recommended Donut Star, 601 W Washington St, San Diego. Hot out of the oven, so darn delicious. We may be spoiled for life.
For those in LA, check out @dkdonuts. Used to be owned by this same wonderful family. Love supporting hardworking small businesses.
Special note, many people sent us to the @donutbar. While the service was great, the donuts were pretty, but not amazing.

Out of the way place, the donuts were delicious 😋 lady behind the counter was especially sweet. My breakfast sandwich and Tai tea were perfect.

It’s 5:09am and I’m waiting for them to open ? I left they never opened!
It was a desperate second choice after I found out San Diego's finest (at the end of my street) has closed down. The donuts were fine but the filled savoury croissant was cold and unappetizing.
Great service and food. Probably my favorite donuts near me.
My go-to place, and everyone at work (FedEx) loves their blueberry old fashioned and the rasberry filled. Owner and employees are all very friendly.
Best donuts in San Diego!
