This Birthday weekend we were on a Quest for Apple Fritters. All weekend we couldn't find one in Downtown San Diego, but our waitress Mia @intercontinentalsd recommended Donut Star, 601 W Washington St, San Diego. Hot out of the oven, so darn delicious. We may be spoiled for life.

I've been coming here for a while and it's never been an issue to have my dogs with me. Tonight i just stopped by and there was no one inside. I sat down to enjoy one donut and was told not to stay because of my dogs. They are well behaved and did not bark. They have tile floors and no items out, all are behind glass.
