I thought the Turkey Pesto sandwich was okay-good. Relative to the San Diego food scene it was well above average. I've had far better sandos in other North American cities and that's what my review ratings are based on.
Very good atmosphere with the patios and music. With no line to order it took about 20 minutes to get a single sandwich to-go without a drink.

This is now my favorite coffee shop. Everything about this spot was perfect. The breakfast panini was delicious and the mexican mocha with oat milk was amazing. Their outside patio reminds me of a time with my family in Mexico . 10/10 would recommend.

I come to Dos Palmas often to study for a couple hours while my daughters in school. The atmosphere is really beautiful and relaxing. I love the back area for its shade and breeze. A nice escape from the heat. The service is always very welcoming and nice. And the food is great! I love the horchata iced coffee and Mexican mocha iced coffee.

I was in San Diego this past week visiting and I went to Dos Palmas three days in a row. If I had gone the first day I landed for my trip, I would have been there every morning. It’s fairly priced, the staff are so friendly and kind, and the food is DELICIOUS. I had the avocado toast and it is literally the best avo toast I’ve had, I’m back home and just bought avocados so I can recreate it. I also had their turkey pesto sandwich and it was just as yummy. Their coffee cake and banana bread is soft, moist, and has a lot of flavor! I didn’t try their coffee because the first day I went I had their matcha latte and it was such a treat that I just kept getting that every time. If you’re in the area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to visit San Diego again and come back to this wonderful cafe!!

Small food menu, but the food never disappoints. I come here regularly for their breakfast panini and morning coffee. They have a lovely little patio out back where you can sot under the shade of a pomegranate tree.
