Don’t order to go. You will wait forever. Order then pick up.
The scallion pancakes, vegan wontons, and garlic broccoli were all good. The maps tofu (made vegan) left much to be desired. I also would stay away from the vegan buns and just stick with the wontons. They have the same filling but it just worked better with the wontons.
Great lunch special! And kid friendly!
I am so thankful that my daughter one night was randomly craving soup dumplings here in escondido. I have NEVER had them before but she had seen a YouTube video about them and was dying to try them. We then stumbled upon to dumplings and more and boy am I glad! The soup dumplings (aka xio long bao) are amazing! Everything that I have ordered from here is nothing but superb: lamb dumplings, wontons in chili oil, Mongolian beef, Szechuan beef...all of it has been great and everyone is so nice! Place is well kept as well. I can't tell you how often I crave the food from here. Please try you won't be disappointed 😍
Kid-friendliness: This is my new go to place to have mother daughter dates with my 9 year old.

Yummy stuff, we got many different kinds of dumplings and all were really delicious. This was a first time for some of our kids to try dumplings and after this place they have been asking for more dumplings. It was delicious

White pepper overload. If you don’t like the taste of white pepper, do not order from here because every single item is doused in it. That’s all you taste and nothing has true flavor.

Cozy, simple food for the soul. Tastes like home cooking. Soup dumplings 10/10, mapo tofu 7/10, all other food averages about 6/10.
Great place to come for a pick-me-up meal.

TL:DR - This was the worst dim sum and service I’ve ever had
The menu is all online. Not the worst thing in the world but you can’t just open your phone and look at it. Each phone has to enter info as if you were individually ordering to see the menu. We just ended up using one phone because it was too annoying. You can only see one item at a time so to view the menu you have to scroll through photos of every item. Annoying. On the wall they have a list of milk tea etc. options. To find them in the app you have to go under “alcohol” to choose. So you don’t know if you’re ordering something with alcohol or not. Turns out they actually do serve the beverages with alcohol too but I’m not sure how you order those. And then it just says milk tea, not showing the 8 or so options available. I had to walk up and ask the guy how it works and ended up just ordering it through him. But once I had put in the milk tea order I was able to see the flavor options. But just confusing and time consuming. My Thai tea was good and large.
Orange shrimp was lacking sauce and had a pretty crappy batter on it. They brought this out first with no rice. We waited to see if the other food was coming out after but it never did. I had to get up and talk to a guy preparing delivery orders to find out if it came with rice. He said yes, and was next to the rice cooker but made no attempt to help us. I sat down and waited for our rice for another 5 minutes. Never came. I had to get up again and ask the guy if I could have my rice before the shrimp got cold (it was already cold 5 minutes ago).
So dry cold shrimp and plain rice with no sauce on the rice. Then the fried buns and dim sum came out. Maybe it’s not customary? But I generally like a dipping sauce for my dim sum. I asked if they had any and he pointed to 3 bottles on the table. Oil, vinegar and soy sauce. Ok I could make the sauce myself but this still wont make a great sauce and there were no small dishes. We each got one small plate to eat off so I had to mix my sauce on the plate. So I could then no longer use it for orange shrimp. The dumplings in the dim sum sampler were super mediocre, the shrimp was boring, another one was some mystery substance that seemed like gooey ground mushrooms. The dumpling wrappers were warm still but hard and gummy on top. Horrible. The buns were ok but pretty plain. The bean buns were good. The kid dropped one on the floor and I realized there was nasty food all over the floor. I should have left the bun there cuz when I picked it up to be considerate it looked like it had rolled in old dog food. Disgusting. We had to walk to the counter and find someone to give us out bill. The service was nonexistent.
Never going back. (Yes I love dim sum this is not my first rodeo)
Oh and the phones for the to go orders were just dinging constantly the whole time. Like nonstop. Horrible atmosphere, I would not recommend this to anyone who is neurodivergent (I am not but it was still super distracting and unpleasant)

Had some awesome Dan Dan Noodles and a braised pork bun. The noodles were super fresh and had that perfect chewy texture I always look for in handmade noodles. The pork bun was super juicy and tasty. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to often!
Parking: Street parking is a good option. Take a min or 2 to look for when I was there. And about a dollar for an hour.

With a name of dumplings n more I expected mainly dumplings, but this place has a lot of cooked dishes and even some dim sum staples.
Let’s start with the dumplings. The lamb dumplings were the best of the three tried (the other was pork, shrimp and chives and soup dumplings). The soup dumplings had minimal soup, but with a dunk in a soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil they tasted fine.
Other dishes ordered were the smashed cucumbers which had too much garlic for my taste and not enough vinegar nor spiciness. As for the har gow, the wrapper was a tad too thick.
The sui mi on the other hand is wrapped like a won ton and does not taste like your average sui mi. It’s not a bad taste…just different. Didn’t get a chance to try any of the wok dishes being full from all the dumplings.
Portions sizes can be chosen and are different depending on whether the dumplings are boiled, steamed or pan fried. This is a good thing if you come alone cause you can order different types of dumplings to try.
