Dunkin' Donuts in San Diego

“The people that staff this Dunkin, at least on my visits, are some of the friendliest fast-food staff I’ve encountered. Even when they’re clearly bogged down with orders and a full line at the drive-thru, I’ve been handed my mobile order with a smile, and my order is right every time. I hope everyone here gets a well-deserved raise.“

“These guys were so busy this morning but short staffed. my food was a tad overcooked HOWEVER, my coffee was delicious! If you are in a super hurry, order ahead via the app! And don’t forget to tell them thank you! 😊
the guy with the beard was so patient, he repeated himself multiple times to please use the kiosk if paying with a card, bc customers do not listen nor give grace to fast food workers busting their tails to get them their orders. I would have def been irritated if I was him but he maintained a pleasant attitude and for that I will continue to come to this location. To fellow customers: please remember that we are all just trying to survive in this life!“

“This Dunkin's is adjacent to the SDSU Campus on Montezuma Dr. It shares a space with Jimmy Johnson Sandwiches. I had a medium drip coffee and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich on an English Muffin.

The coffee was good. It was a little bitter at first, but then it settled down and was much smoother to drink. I had it hot. The turkey sausage breakfast sandwich was good, too. The breakfast sandwich was better than I thought it was going to be. The turkey sausage was savory and tasty. The cheese was well melted, the egg well cooked, and the English muffin well toasted.

I did not get any doughnuts on this trip, but perhaps next time. The service was friendly and helpful. Everything is packaged to go. They do have a small wall table with about three chairs inside.“

“Cashier was attentive and speedy. I appreciate the urgency of getting the coffe and sandwhich order out. My latte tasted great! I actually taste the espresso. Sandwhich tasted great. Nothing special just enough to fill our belly for breakfast. Donuts were tasty and yummy like always. Price was average for a coffe and donut.“

“Good ol’ Dunkin Donuts! Ordered a maple bar and an apple fritter and wasn’t disappointed. No line or crowd at 8am on a Saturday although the area around this location feels a bit unsafe due to homeless individuals lingering in the downtown area. Nice stop on a Saturday morning but the interior is petite.“

The energy, the friendliness, the hustle to get food done and get you on your way. The way they cover eachother off. The way they even give the customers little compliments and lots of smiles.

We are visiting from Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) and this was a perfect send off as we leave beautiful California!

We didn't use the drive through so got more exposure to the staff than is normal. I wish I had cash on me to give them all a generous tip!

The sit in space is not nice but if you had to dine in at least you are in the company of the wonderful young people that work there. It's otherwise a total 5-star experience!!“
