Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Their surf and turf special was pretty solid, as well as their mashed potatoes. I especially enjoyed the live music, our waiters' hospitality, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Overall, a great experience with good food and good vibes.

Everything was amazing, as usual. Everyone who works here are not only professionals and great at their jobs, but lovely, friendly and helpful people. The food is amazing, the ambiance is perfect for a relaxing, but special evening- and the live Music is worth the visit! Everything is consistently fabulous! Thank you for an Amazing Dinner!

This place is exceptional food, service, quality, atmosphere - you name it! Our waiter was the best waiter I’ve ever had and treated my family respectfully, with class, and beyond hospitable. The food was impeccable. I rarely go somewhere and pay as much as I did here but this was worth it and you want it to be when you’re taking the fam to a nice dinner. Well worth it and way to go Eddie V’s.

Just a Fantastic experience at Eddie Vs. Firstly, our server Heidi was so nice and efficient. The assortment of seafood we ordered was outstanding. Shellfish tower was nicely presented. Calamari delicious, burrata salad perfect, and yellowfin appetizer excellent. Also recommended is the scallop dinner.

Meh. I was looking forward to eating here tonight. I made an early reservation as I was on my way home from work and was too tired to cook at home. I made my resevation through open table. When I walked in the hostess just stared at me waiting for me to speak. She never said "hello", "good evening", "welcome". Nothing. Just waited for me to speak first. I told her that I had a reservation. Gave her my name and she just continued to have this miserable look on her face and then stopped giving me eye contact like I did something wrong. Wtf!! My reservation was at 4:30 tonight 10/10/2025. She had long dark hair with highlights and LOTS of makeup. A young male with blonde hair was assisting her. Both of them without a smile. This made me feel very unwelcomed and if it weren't for the fact that I was starving and already paid my meter I would have turned around and walked out. I told them that they weren't at all welcoming and she just glared at me like she was throwing daggars. Still not hearing one word out of her, the young guy took me to my table and apologized with some lame explanation like there was any justification to what I just endured by my having the audacity to just walk through the front door. But at least he apologized albeit lame. I guess my "good evening" crack was way out of line. While having dinner, My server and her busser were pleasant and the busser was doing a great job. My dinner (the wedge salad and scallops entree) were just meh and nothing special. Needed salt. But I digress. As I was getting up to leave I walked by the same hostess and host with no acknowledement by her AGAIN. There was no "thank you" or "please come again". She literally ignored my passing by with that same miserable look on her face. The host is the first and last impression of a restaurant. And when you're paying nearly 100 dollars for a quick dinner you should at least feel appreciated that you didn't patronize their competitor.

Excellent food - excellent service - would recommend the Blue Diamond drink as well! Creme Brulee was perfect!!

We had such a wonderful birthday dinner at Eddie V's in Seaport Village! The service was exceptional, the food was prepared exactly as ordered (correct modifications for allergies and preferences) and was absolutely delicious, and the live music created a celebratory atmosphere!

We had an amazing experience. from the roses on the table to thr desert, everything was exceptional.

Our visit was personalized with a birthday card and complimentary dessert, and yes, food was great too 💖

I visited San Diego from LA to see a friend in the military and came to Eddie Vs for a catch up meal. The customer service was outstanding, with Jamie greeting us warmly upon arrival and Terry taking care of us during our meal. The food was tasty overall; however, the Mac & Cheese could use some improvement, and the banana butter cake was slightly undercooked, with a noticeable gas flavor from the fire used for presentation. Despite these minor issues, I would rate this place a solid 9/10. The service was phenomenal, thank you for a great experience!

Our first experience at this establishment to celebrate the hubby ❤️ birthday and it was EXQUISITE! Will recommend to all my friends family and acquaintances. Food was superior, ambience and attention to detail was outstanding ans wait staff was cordial. Made us feel very special. Thank you

We had a dinner for four celebrating three birthdays. We let the staff know in our reservation and wow, they amazed us! The table was decorated with special confetti, and each of us had a hand written card. The dinner and each of our main dishes were superb. The others had the Chilean Sea Bass, and I had Salmon after starting with the lobster bisque. The deserts were flaming and spectacular! I've always enjoyed Eddie V's several other locations, Chicago and Phoenix. This was my second visit to Eddie V's, San Diego and it outdid the others on this night! Thank you to the wonderful team who took great care of us. If you have a special occasion, Eddie V's should be your top choice.

Eddie V's is excellent. Wonderful service (thank you Martin), delicious seafood and steaks. Loved the live music.
