Oh Effin's..You were one of my first meals in San Diego when I went to college, and one of my last meals when I left San Diego. I used to live next door for 5 years, and when people couldn't find my apartment, I would tell people that I was the place next to Effin's. I had an appointment next door and finished up hours later, hungry! I stopped in and ordered to go, I sat there and waited, super easy to pull up menu, just scan QR code- the bartender/waiter was super sweet, he offered me a drink while I waited for my food, on the house he hooked me up with a seltzer and lime- Food was ready, I went to my car and couldn't help but opening because it smelled so GOOD! Effin's... how long has it been? Ages would be an understatement, but I couldn't tell you exactly either. I can say with certainty that my age did not have a 3 or a 4 in it though. This is not the college bar that it once was but that's not because of the decor on the walls or the history that's baked into the walls. It's because of the damn pandemic and the rules that these businesses have to put into play to open. That being said, Effin's has done a great job of still creating...read full review
