☕ We ordered some brewed coffee to sip on while waiting to get in at their sister restaurant, The Breakfast Republic, which is right next door. The coffee was good and we loved the cups. ?

Wow, what a great discovery! I had no idea that Breakfast Republic had a sister shop serving amazing egg sandwiches. The original egg sandwich was absolutely delicious. I particularly loved the California version with its crunchy and salty hashbrown pairing. I stopped by during the New Year holiday for a quick breakfast, and I was pleased to find a short line and a concise menu that made choosing easy. With limited seating inside, it's best to plan for takeout. I visited on a Saturday morning to grab breakfast and coffee in one go. The hash brown and the Eggies classic were definitely the highlights of my order. Opting for the combo with a choice of coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice, I upgraded to the Vanilla Cold Foam for an extra treat. The food was undeniably tasty, but I must warn you - it packs some heat! Be prepared for a bit of spice. Overall, I wish there were more seating options, but the flavorful food more than made up for it.

I stopped by after having a bad experience somewhere else. The menu is super limited so I didn't expect much. Mannnnnnn when I tell you my sandwich was fire! I ordered the California. My turkey patty was thick and juicy and the flavor profile was insane. I will def. Be back when I come back to San Diego. The only con is that small a%s cup they put your $5 vanilla cold foam coffee in...lol..other than that, I recommend.

The service was a mix of sweet and sour, it made the overall experience less enjoyable. From disinterested responses to bitter sweet attitude

Serving good food with major attitude. The guy cashier was very rude and offended by me asking for no cheese on my sandwich 5 seconds after he already told the kitchen. I understand it was busy and he was stressed. But everyone has bad days and to take it out on a customer is not ok. This was my third time here.

This place was really cute and tasty! I ordered the California sandwich which was a 9/10 after I added ketchup (personal preference). Overall, it was a great place to grab a quick bite.

What a disappointment, I always look forward to getting "what came first" I speak highly of this place. But today was just not it! Super skinny chicken and small! A very small egg! I wish I could have taken a picture in the beginning but I was just so hungry. Also the hash brown was a triangle shaped. that look much smaller then what they usto be. This is how restaurants loose their value. Just like the breakfast republic did. Inflation ? Or cheap owner? A McChicken has more chicken than this.

Stopped by this place for a quick breakfast during the New Years holiday. The line was short and a short menu made it easier to choose. There are limited seats inside (5 seats and 2 tables) so it is best to take it to go.The food was good, really good, but it was spicy, be prepared for it. I wish there was a sign on the menu line warning about it because personally, if I knew that the California __ has spice in its meat, I would have ordered something else instead.Their orange juice is fresh: I saw the oranges being put into a machine that peals and squeezes them. It tasted nice and not too sweet.I really loved how cute their cups/napkins are as well as the interior design of the cafe.

I ordered online here yesterday and came to pick up my food and was saddened to have experienced such poor quality service at the start of the new year. It was an older male guy with a hat working yesterday who had the worst attitude. He was very rude and seemed like didn’t know the slightest definition of standard good customer service. They were busy for a Monday which I understand but the guy wouldn’t even acknowledge anyone coming up to the window until he was done with everything else as if we’re not standing 2 feet away from him. A simple “hi, I’m a bit busy right now but I will be right with you” wouldn’t hurt. A father and his daughter were waiting in front of me very patiently and even asked in confusion if they had to order online for food since they hadn’t been acknowledged in over 5 minutes. All he said was “yeah you could do that”. So they asked if they could order with him since they were already there. To which he just said yeah. They waited over 10 minutes and finally left. I asked him a simple question about the menu because I wanted a flavor for the cold brew but online said they were out even though I saw him giving it out. Instead of giving me a simple yes or no he very rudely told me to basically wait to speak to him until he was done handling an order. I ordered the vanilla cold foam cold brew. It didn’t have any cold foam. The sandwiches were sub par and looked like flat, soggy McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches.

Went here and felt bad for Jason ,, this man works his ass off and does an amazing job with unprofessional ignorance from people who apparently have a train to catch .... Not his fault that your lazy and sleep late . Wake up earlier and be a decent human to a person who is busting his ass to make good quality food ... overall food was great and loved this place .10/10 ...

YUM. I thought this was such a fantastic find. I didn't realize Breakfast Republic had a little sister shop serving fantastic egg sandwiches. The original egg sandwich was so delicious. My favorite was the California version. Crunchy and Salty hashbrown pairs wonderfully. The hash in a cup is a must. We grabbed a family bag of goodies here before going down to watch the twins and play at the new playground near the children's museum. The family all thought it was a fabulous way to start the early morning. Service was great and fast.. they didn't have the chicken sandwich when we ordered, but we will be back to try again. Prices seem a little high but the quality and flavors make it worth. Definitely recommend and it's a great way to start a morning adventure downtown. Order online ahead and pick up for a quick start to your day!

I ordered a to go order. I ordered what came first, which is a chicken egg sandwich. I received a sausage and bacon egg sandwich. Totally different. I stuck with it cause it was too late already and I left the restaurant already. The guy confirmed the egg would be cooked over medium. I took a bite of the sandwich, all the yolk squirted everywhere. Horrible experience. Overpriced for food that wasn’t the right order and not even cooked correctly
