Eggies was a bit of a letdown for me. I tried the Who Came First? sandwich, which had a lot of potential, but it ended up a little bland. My friend loved his Eggies classic. The vanilla cold brew wasn’t my favorite either, it came across as watery. Might be worth trying something else on the menu next time. Luckily for us, there was little to no wait and available seating for us to eat in the sunshine which is just what I needed.

Happened upon Eggies randomly while wandering around Pacific Beach because if you blink you might just miss it if you don’t know it’s there. I decided to go all in and try their main four: the Eggies Classic, What Came First, the BLT, and the California. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but by the end I was absolutely mind-blown. These were some seriously fantastic sandwiches.

For me, the standout was the Eggies Classic, the combination an over medium egg, eggcellent sauce, maple-sage breakfast sausage, applewood smoked bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese on a Brioche Bun was a full-on party in my mouth.

My least favorite, though still tasty, was the California; the warm arugula, which I normally love, felt a bit out of sync with the eggs and other ingredients. And on What Came First, I just wished the chicken had a bit more crisp.

Overall, an awesome visit and I’d highly recommend to anyone who loves a killer breakfast sandwich.

Great walk up breakfast place with a cute theme. Reasonable prices for what you get.

The “What Came First” sandwich with fried chicken was messy but super tasty.

The Eggie’s Classic was very good with a touch of sweet maple sausage.

The orange juice was very fresh.

Had the Eggies Breakfast sandwich. Let me tell you, I LOVE breakfast. I try new places all the time, all over the world. But this sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’d ever had. The meat was delicious and flavorful, the bacon was just the right blend of crispy and thick, and the eggs themselves were SO DAMN GOOD.

This is the worst sandwich I have ever bought. Everything is over cooked and just thrown together. Used to be good. Shouldn't take 30 minutes for an egg sandwich
