This is my second time visiting EINSTEIN BAGELS. 1st Vist was in the middle of rush hour. Got my breakfast sandwich in and out. By the way, it tasted amazing. But today was even better Vist. Walked in and had a group of 6-7 year old kids with no clue what they wanted. But with the help and patience from stafe members, Sonia & Ame`with suggestions thats within thier budgets and have a delightful meal. Kids was very happy with the INCREDIBLE SERVICE and so was I. Thanks for a great experience šŸ‘.

Pathetic customer service, RUDE!!!! Ordered 2 bagels. Received them burnt. Did not tip, cashier lady inspects the receipt to see if I’ve tipped. Guy making the bagels slams my bagels on the counter and does not even bother to call out my name. Entitled freaks.

When some food companies or restaurants become very successful, they forget the original purpose of starting the company. This store is located at 3545 Del Mar Heights Rd C9, San Diego, CA 92130. The bagels in this store are delicious, but the service attitude is very poor ??. When we entered the store, all the waiters had their backs to us, and there were only two old people eating at the table, so there were no other customers at the time, so we waited for almost 5 minutes before a waiter asked us if anyone could help you? When the waiter brought us the bagels we asked for and we bought 2 dozen, we were surprised when the waiter took a big box and threw the bagels we asked for into the box one after another. It looked like trash is being thrown away. Your staff acts like we are paid panhandlers ?. Your company should frequently monitor the attitude of its attendants at each branch.

I ordered four briskets sandwiches and three spinach bagels.

Today, I encountered three issues. First, they mistakenly gave me bagels instead of the spinach bagels I had ordered. I promptly reported the error, and they promptly replaced the bagels.

Second, when I received the four briskets, I noticed that the meat portions were significantly reduced. I inspected all the remaining briskets and found that some had more meat than others. To ensure accuracy, I plan to order a weight scale to verify the meat content and will update my review based on the measurement results.

Lastly, when I reported these issues to the staff and manager in the store, they seemed disinterested and disregarded my concerns about the customer experience.

Pictures are two bagels today, and I’d like you to compare them. Please take a look at the pictures.

The weight measurement was done. Although the manager told me they have exactly same weight, it shows 7g difference when comparing two of them. Related pictures are attached as well.

I ordered a 2 egg cheddar cheese bagel on sesame at 9:15 am. They were out of sesame bagels AND only gave me one egg !!
Worst. When I brought it up to register w receipt the woman was not very nice wanted to throw my sandwich away and make me another. She could have just given ma an egg and not thrown out food. I was charged $1.10 for the extra egg and no option for refund given. She and the woman who rang me up were laughing. Worst experience here ever!! And it wasn’t busy at the time

I've been coming here once a week for about 3 years. The service has never been good. The management has never been good. My order is consistently wrong but hey it's close to work. At least I know what to expect when I come here. My photo is an example of the consistent quality I get here. I've used the website to complain over the years and have never received a response. Shout out to the La Jolla location as they set the benchmark for good service. Take notes Del Mar.

Been coming to Einstein Bros. Bagels for two decades, but recently disappointed at the low level of customer service at this particular location.All out of salt and pretzel bagels. Waited 15 minutes for just a bagel.A clique of oblivious employees on the clock, behind the counter, chitchatting, most with their backs to a disordered long line of several customers off the clock, (possibly on lunch break) simply waiting to order. One register taking orders and taking payment, as opposed to the usual two.A clerk suggested I come behind the counter and help. (There’s no way to get behind the counter FYI) Otherwise I'd pop the bagel in the microwave (with an actual sense of urgency) and toss in a side of cream cheese. DONE. Out the door!Manager, at first MIA, proved abysmal as she finally showed up, and gaslit me for speaking up.ā€œOut of the 13 people waiting in line, you’re the only one complaining.ā€ - The Manager (Classic line. Her exact words.)Not everyone is brave enough to speak up, nor might they care enough to share constructive feedback.She refused to provide her name. She simply walked away before I could finish.There are several security surveillance cameras that see everything. Reporting to Corporate. Discouraged from returning.It's important to be cognizant of customers. Their time is just as valuable as everyone else's.Sorry it happened in the first place. There’s no ā€œupdating itā€. It happened.
