It's definitely a bar space, sticky floors and loud music. We went there for happy hour before the Padres game and got the rolled tacos. They were delicious!! The margs were great too!! Pleasantly surprised and will be back!!
Awesome happy hour though you kinda have to ask about it. Mon-Fri 2 to 6. Margarita for $6, and set of 3 crispy rolled tacos with toppings for $5. Got another 2 orders to take for later ;-).
El chingon is San Diego and has outlasted several dozens of big clubs throughout the year. The owner is an amazing person and he cares about his customers. If you are ever in Fort Worth there is another El Chingon which is a huge blast!
