It's a very authentic Mexican restaurant. Although the Roll Taco I ordered was a little tough for my personal taste, the El Patron Burrito was very solid, with plenty of meat, and it was very marinated and delicious! I also especially tried Chimichanga, a dish where meat fillings are wrapped in a roll and deep-fried. The meat inside is just right tender. In addition, this store allows you to pick up different types of sauces, as well as fried chili peppers or green peppers....

Awesome local Mexican restaurant with a nice relaxed vibe, and decent prices. Can't believe I lived in Mira Mesa for 10 years before trying them! They do a Taco Tuesday special every week, but I usually prefer their Carne Asada or Pollo Asado burritos, which are a healthy size, and they are pretty generous with the (good-quality) meat too. My other favorite is the Bisteak Ranchero plate. I should really try some of their other choices, but I'm a bit of a creature of...

I went with a large party. Mostly everything was amazing. The tostada and carne asada taco were a little bland and boring, but the surf and turf burrito, carne asada fries, shrimp cocktail were awesome.
