Visiting California for the first time and as a CT Pizza Snob the first thing I do in a new place is look up recommended pizza spots. Ellie’s was a block from my AirBnb and had a 5/5 review. So I said to my girl, “this is the spot we need to check out”, and we headed up. The hours are crazy limited for good reason but we got there at open and chose the outdoor seating. Everything about this place is awesome. The people are incredible nice and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been all over the US eating top rated pizza places and this is equal to the best!! I can’t recommend this place enough to everyone!!!
We have enjoyed Ellie's a few times, always good, fresh out of the oven, friendly and consistent. You won't find a thinner, yummy crust! Delicious every time!

Ellie's Wood Fired Pizza serves fantastic and delicious pizza, considered the best by some. The menu includes specific pizzas like the elote pizza, Hildes Pepperoni, and Mishkas Margarita. Pizzas are cooked perfectly, not doughy or too thick. Notable accompaniments are the fantastic homemade ranch, incredible chili oil, and hot honey. The building is gorgeous with cute decor. Service is straightforward with very kind, friendly, and accommodating owners and nice, helpful staff. Wait times can vary. It is viewed as an awesome small business and a must-try.
