If you're thinking about trying this cafe, this is your sign. I tried the fig toast which featured prosciutto, goat cheese, avocado, and balsamic. The avocado was fresh, the bread was nicely toasted, the goat cheese was delicious, the balsamic was sweet and the prosciutto was thinly cut so it wasn't difficult to eat. Overall delicious food, worth the price in my opinion. Would come here again to support a small business.

Elmisa Cafe Rancho Bernardo is a quaint, spot located on a busy intersection. The kitchen is constantly moving, and the breakfast menu is varied and appealing. Service here is friendly and the staff is knowledgeable about the offerings.

I ordered the Power Bowl, which came served in a plastic container—a detail that felt a little odd since we were dining on-site. The bowl was generously filled with walnuts, bananas, strawberries, coconut, dates, and covered in a layer of creamy almond butter.

The Elmisa (Avocado Toast) was nice, served on a crisp slice of sourdough bread. The sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, paired with the avocado spread, were remarkably fresh and bright. The feta cheese was a great addition, using its salt and richness to enhance the fresh vegetable flavors. Since the cafe lacks a griddle, they use sliced boiled eggs to top the toast. While delicious, I think this dish would be elevated even further with a soft over-easy or poached egg (a personal preference).

There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating available.

⚠ The experience was tempered by the narrow parking lot and busy intersection, which created some frustration. Be careful driving to/from the location during peak hours.

Overall, a nice breakfast spot with lots of promise.

Absolutely love this place so many options for healthy food and it is such a cute atmosphere with such lovely service! The MEDI toast is my personal favorite, and I love some of the healthy MCT oil and collagen drinks. The MCT oil matcha is my favorite with almond milk!

We came across this delightful cafe to grab coffee and light breakfast for our short road trip. This cafe was the only place opened in a strip mall by the freeway early morning. To be honest, we didn’t expect much from this cafe but to just pick up a decent cup of warm coffee to continue our road trip. We were totally surprised how adorable this cafe is, clean, nice and very cozy vibes with a great selection of beverages, breakfast and bunch menu. We were happy to be able to get healthy breakfast and tasty coffee at this cafe.

Elmisa Cafe is a local family business located close by the 15 freeway, ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating. There is a free book corner where you can take/donate books from. This place offers a lot of great cafe food and drink options and makes all their own sauces and spreads, definitely a fantastic neighborhood gem. We would definitely visit again whenever we are in the area so we can try out other menu items. We hope they will stay in business for a very long time and thrive.

The large chicken artichoke sandwich filled me up for the rest of the day. $15 and you get generous portions, plenty of sauce, and spongey bread. We came here on our lunch break and had plenty of time because the service was quick. Great indoor and outdoor eating options as well. Just a super solid sandwich, salad, and soup spot.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it’s one of my favorites. Last time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and my husband ordered the same thing again this time because it was so good.
I had a sandwich called “Hampeno,” which has jalapeños in it. As someone who loves spicy food, I was very satisfied. The combination of ham, avocado, tomato, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and crispy bread was delicious.
The only downside was that the soup that came with my husband’s roast beef sandwich was a bit too salty. It was perfectly seasoned last time, so that was a little disappointing.

This is a cute cafe and coffee shop. While I didn't eat, the menu looks very interesting with a lot of breakfast and lunch options.

Coffee was good and they serve LavAzza, which is just about the Italian national coffee brand and is very good. Service was very friendly.

I'd go back
