I'm a big tea drinker, so I'm often disappointed with I order tea out because many places don't know how to steep it. Elmisa has it down with the Honey Bear Tea Latte. So good! The Elmisa Toast is delicious, too. I don't live in the area, but tried it when meeting up with friends who live in various areas of the county.
I also get imaging done nearby at UCSD, so I order online and take food home when I have any tests, which is easy and super convenient.

There are some drawbacks when going here, but there's a lot to like.

Drinks: The smoothie I usually get has a distinct artificial flavoring, though it might be from the protein powder. It's not bad despite this, unless you're prone to sugar headaches. Coffee is fine

Food: The bakery items generally make me sad, I don't care for them. However, the rula sandwich is really good! It's oily though, but you can ask them...

I come here often because the food, coffee and staff here are exceptional! There hasn't been a food item here that wasn't good. Everything tastes fresh and healthy. The coffee choices are great and don't taste bitter. The staff are friendly and welcoming. This is always our go-to place.
