Place was amazing. Not to many Cuban places in San Diego and this one was great. Walked by today and it's closed. They are in the process of liquidating everything it looks like. :(
I celebrated my birthday this evening in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a tremendous evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the outstanding meeting. The stuff helped in a lovely style, the cuisine was delicious and my friends were very joyful. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Ever had a sandwich so good that it changed your life? I've been to Miami's best Cubano restaurants and they didn't hold a candle to Embargo. When I was stationed in San Diego, I went here for years. Their pork shoulder is marinated in orange juice, lime juice, and garlic and then shredded rather than sliced.
