Right next to Pure Project brewery. You can take out empanadas and pair with the beers at the Project! My first time and tried the beef with their spicy chimichurri. Very flavorful. Buttery and slightly flaky dough. YUM! Many different flavors to choose from at a reasonable price. They also have a location on C Street downtown. Just go!

While waiting for our order from Wise Ox, I decided to take a peek at the Empanada Kitchen that's also been here for a while. I did order the three (3) empanada special for $11.95. I chose the beef, chicken and mushroom with goat cheese. It came with a spicy chimichurri sauce to dip. They were all so delicious! I have to mention that the customer swevice was great too! Makes the experience Al the better. Geez. This can be a bit dangerous being I only work down the street from them.

Larissa was so helpful! She helped me pick the best empanadas as it was my first time here and I didn’t know what to eat. She was so kind, and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! My favorites were the chicken, ham, apple and the corn. Definitely will be back! Larissa is awesome!!

No receipt when paying with cash. The cashier just shorted me 10 cents and then proceeded to shame me for the small amount because I suggested she tell the manager that providing a receipt would prevent that from happening.

Cute small place with good empanadas. I do wish they had more selections of sauces but overall good!

Now I don’t claim to be an empanada aficionado but I can say that these are without a doubt the best I have ever had. The options are impressive and the little stamp in the pastry helps you remember which ones you are eating. If you like meat filled pastry dough by any other name, than you will enjoy the delicious savory meats (and veggie) options from this unassuming hole in the wall. Ask for Dan, he is the most dapper dressed empanada salesman I’ve ever met.

What a great place to get empanadas love the ham and cheese, the apple, the spinach and cheese to name a few, they are from Argentina and love the alfojores as well. Come check them out so delicious and friendly staff, they have multiple locations but I went to the one In North Park.

Great variety of empanadas ! I only tried beef and chicken and they are so great! Plus they have the chimichurri sauce that it’s a perfect addition to the flavor! I’ll definitely coming back, great for lunch, snack , dinner … people is really friendly and they always make good recommendations. The place is always clean. Highly recommend everyone to try it!

We have ordered from here several times. We finally made it to Empanada Kitchen! So if we have ordered a lot then you should deduce the empanadas are delicious and filling! Typically we get the beef and an apple. You cannot go wrong with those choices!! The location is small and cute! Love the colors and the staff are a delight to talk to. My son is a huge fan and wants the beef every time we order!Come by or order from one of the delivery services! You will not be disappointed!!Oh would have taken pictures of the empanadas it they were eaten! Go do yourself a favor and enjoy some empanadas!!

My family went to Empanada Kitchen and tried a few different options. We tried spicy beef, mushroom goat cheese, and corn and basil. All of them were really good, and I would love to go

I stumbled upon this little gem in San Diego, and their "yes we have empanadas" sign on the street gave me a good laugh before I even stepped inside.Following their recommendation, I tried the corn and basil empanadas, and they were a real treat. The crust was wonderfully flaky, and the corn inside was sweet and bursting with flavor. It was an amazing combination that left me eager to return for more. They offered regular and spicy chimichurri sauce, although I must admit it didn't add much to the empanada I had, but I can see it being a great complement to other menu items. If you're in the mood for some delightful empanadas, Empanada Kitchen is definitely worth a visit!

I revisited this establishment, and I'm delighted to find that the ambiance has remained unchanged, preserving its unique charm. This time, I decided to sample their corn and basil empanadas as well as the chicken empanadas, both of which were accompanied by the traditional chimichurri sauce. To my delight, every bite was a burst of wonderful flavors. It's reassuring to see that my previous experience was merely an outlier, as this time the empanadas were truly outstanding. I plan to make this a regular dining spot in the future.I must commend Erik for his exceptional service; he ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our visit.

Delightful! I don't think they have a single menu item that disappoints... their chimichurri sauce is delicious. My favorite of the empanada flavors is: Corn & Basil. Lamb is a close second!
