Evan has been at the register the couple of times I visited. His welcoming attitude makes the good food taste even better. The cheesesteaks are on point. I have family in Philadelphia area so I know a good cheesesteak when I have one!I will absolutely be a returning customer as I enjoyed both the food and the service. This place is also in my backyard. Glad I finally gave it a shot! Thanks Evan and the team at Evan's Deli & Brew. You guys are great.

I never thought I'd taste a truly delicious Philly Cheesesteak when I moved west. This place knows what they're doing. Good sandwiches and cheesesteaks just like home.

Evan is very nice, meatball sub is delicious. Steak hoagie is good. Fries are not too salty. Good with ketchup. You can tell the food is made with love.

Stopped in for steak and cheese after seeing positive reviews. Ended up coming back a second time in the same day to get the same exact thing. Very good.

This used to be the location of Gaglione Bros, also a cheesesteak place. I was bummed when it closed. I'm not sure when Evan's Deli and Brew opened but I wish I knew sooner. I was craving a cheesesteak and garlic fries and pleased to see Evan's was at this location. These cheesesteaks and garlic fries are delicious! I've been here like 3 times within the last month. I typically get a mushroom cheesesteak and garlic fries. I also love meatball sandwiches but I'm really picky because I don't like them soggy. I asked for the meatballs and bread separately and they said no problem. Typically restaurants won't do it or put up a fuss but this was easy peasy! The owner/staff are amazing. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

I was in the San Diego area for a business trip and I found Evan's Deli & Brew and I decided to give it a try. I had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was one of the best I have had. The service was even better, so I decided to return again for a turkey sandwich the next day. The food great quality and tastes great! I would recommend this wonderful deli to my friends and family. Oh, and they have beer and wine - need I say more? Give them a try, you will be glad you did.

We stopped here on the way home and found that they have some really delicious sandwich choices and have a large variety of glass container carbonated drinks like cream soda, root beers, orange creams, etc. I think my favorite find were the tastykakes up near the register. Haven't had one of those in ages! I would recommend the Philly cheesesteak. The bread was super soft!

Great spot to stop for lunch. The Philly was perfect hot steamy and the spicy peppers add a perfect kick. If I hadn't been at work this would pair perfectly with a alcoholic beverage of your choice. Phillies and Brews by the Bay perfect quick stop shop.

Hands down the best cheesesteak I've had in San Diego. Staff and owners are super friendly, and there is always plenty of parking and seating. One of my go-to lunch spots.

No seriously, best sandwiches and service you are going to receive in the Point Loma/OB/Old Town area. You can sit inside or out, have a little drink and the friendliest owner on the planet will chat you up while you wait for your delicious food. I came in one day thinking they had breakfast burritos (but they're not quite ready to launch those yet). So the owner came up with a modified cheesesteak for me that included eggs and it was out of this world. Run, don't walk and get your good food on while helping an awesome owner of a small business!

We arrived with the intention of going to a neighboring restaurant that was closed, on Christmas Eve, only to receive the warmest welcome at Evan’s (by Evan himself!). Great selection of drinks, alcoholic and non, and the food is top notch! We ordered “The Philly” and Pepper Steak, and garlic fries.
