Visited for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, a bit of a mixed experience for my first time here. Started out well- greeted and seated quickly. The service was friendly, but overall it seemed like dishes were coming out to the tables haphazardly and in a disorganized manner. Secondly, I accept markup and generally don't complain about food costs ( it's part of the experience these days). However, the food was not warm- definitely seems like it sat for a bit. My husband had the pork and I had the ravioli- great flavors, but $75 pp for cold food is not acceptable. The wine was also overpriced for the quality which didn't help. We won't be back.

Kind of tasteless food. For the price level expected more. Toilets should get a deep clean and a refresh. Also paper towels - the saving Mother Earth note tries to guilt shame you in to being happy with no paper towels. Service was kind.

I lived 25 years in Italy and hesitate before going to Italian restaurants in the States. I wasn't disappointed at Farmer's Bottega. It is lovely inside and the servers were attentive. I ordered the gnocchi and duck which was rich and delicious. My friend ordered the seafood linguini which he said was one of the best meals he has had. I spoke with the chef who is from Sicily who was super nice and clearly loves the restaurant business. He is quite serious about quality. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great authentic Italian meal.

I just had dinner at Farmer's Bottega tonight - party of 3 with my husband and friend. With the rainy weather they had to accommodate more people inside than usual but the staff did an amazing job with the flow and we were seated within minutes of our reservation and it was cozy but not crowded.

Now I am someone who loves a surf and turf and it's my usual go-to. When I say their surf n turf with filet mignon and scallops is the best I've had, it comes from experience.

Definitely plan to come back again and again!

First time coming here to celebrate a friend's birthday for brunch, on a busy, rainy day. They don't seat anyone until your whole party has arrived, but the hostess and staff were friendly, and our service was good. I ordered the machaca omelette and a drink, both were great. Overall, I had a good experience. They don't offer birthday desserts or anything special, so if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend going somewhere else or specifically ask your waiter for a birthday dessert, which we didn't. I did enjoy the variety of food and drink options. So will be back.

This is a great restaurant, no reservation needed for brunch and plenty of seating inside. Good portions, and lots of options to chose from. We ordered mimosas and they were great, and I also got a crab cake benedict which was delicious. Loved it and can’t wait to go back!!

I’ve been here a few times and the food is fresh, tasty, consistent and hits the spot always. The sauces are rich in flavor and meat fresh. Pictures include the Bottega Stack, Lemon Poppy pancakes, chilaquiles and All American breakfast combo. They also have a full coffee bar and serve Lattes hey thank you. The service is always excellent. Friendly hosts and servers and the managers as well. The inside is gorgeous.

This is my favourite restaurant in San Diego. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing patio—-all year round.

We’ve been going for 3 years and have an amazing experience every time.

Patio is dog friendly. Our 3 year old daughter loves it.
Favourite dishes are chicken, short rib, burrata, and all the pastas. Dessert is great too.

Definitely worth a visit.
