The best espresso martini I've had in quite some time. The coconut foam was the perfect sweetness to balance the bitterness of the espresso.

We went just for a drink- but the there is little choice and the Lady said she needed the Credit Card to reserve while we stay, which was kind of weird. And it was so loud and noisy. Not that good experience.

While we didn't eat at Fifth and Rose, we did drink! We had a lovely time sipping on cocktails into the late night and enjoyed the ambiance immensely. Definitely recommend!

Allegedly, even years later I still remember watching football here on the black and white TVs with my friends from out of state and acting like it was normal for San Diego. I cannot confirm if the TVs are still there because I may have recalled that last time they were gone. Bless their heart. Regardless, highly recommend for anywhere upscale. Staff was always nice here too, and it’s a great place to take half dozen shots before an adventure, allegedly.

I did not eat the food, so It is not a 100% accurate reading but it looked good, vibes were good and the dj was loud, nice spot to either start the night or if you stay in the hotel its a nice bar to hit.

We arrived for our reservation and were ignored by multiple staff members & finally walked over & asked bar staff for help. They sent the same staff member who had walked by us repeatedly & she finally sat us. She brought 2 plates and only 1 set of cutlery and 1 plate had food residue all over it. We finally got her attention again & asked for a new plate. She took the dirty plate & never returned with a clean one. We had 2 drinks and 2 appetizers, which were minuscule for the price. We shared 1 set of cutlery and 1 plate. Realizing the experience was not going to get any better, we then left & went & ate somewhere else. Our Valentines evening was very clearly not as advertised, and you would expect far more from a place like the Pendry. The service was absolutely horrible. Our server definitely did not want to be there. The food was mediocre at best. Beyond disappointed, especially on such a special evening.

Great bar in San Diego! The bartender made amazing cocktails, and the staff surprised my friend with a dessert and champagne for her birthday. Really nice touch – highly recommend!

Me and a friend stopped in and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away. All the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing and didn't take too long. Ambiance was perfect too, not too dark or bright. Shout out to Jad the supervisor for checking in on us and making sure our experience was a positive one. Will definitely be back!

Great cocktails right in the Gaslamp area. The atmosphere really depends on the night but regardless you’ll get great service and the bartenders are doing some fantastic work. This is a place you stop in for a drink date or to regroup. It might not be the party stop but it doesn’t miss when it comes to cocktails.

I went on a not so busy Saturday with my partner. The service was ok but slow, the atmosphere too, nothing great. We shared a flatbread which was very good (although a bit overpriced) and one cocktail each. She got a 5th and rosemary, good but a bit weak, I got a modern love, it tasted like flat club soda with lime, worst cocktail I've had for $19, not coming back, recommend to stay away.
