The Fish Market - San Diego

The swordfish was cooked to perfection. The service was good and because it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded and noisy.

It was a great lunch. Service was excellent, the food was delicious. The Swordfish ordered was cooked PERFECTLY. Look forward to the next visit.

We enjoy dinning at the Fish Market San Diego at least a half a dozen times a year. Their menu includes food for all of our guests if any when we come. Staff is always courteous and helpful with any questions or needs we have. A big item that the always sells us on our visits is the view available in almost all of the restaurant. I used to get Mexican shrimp with bacon here and was so bummed they didn't have it. But they were awesome and made me something similar. The bread and butter and the clam chowder are the best anywhere.

Broiled seabass dry and tasteless. Same for angel hair pasta sidelights. Requested bread at outset which never arrived. Not a place to return to.

Scheduled our 10th Anniversary Dinner at Fish Market SD, where we first met. We were seated in the perfect waterfront booth with the usual EXTRAORDINARY view of the water on bay. Our meals both perfectly prepared as always. Jorge provided EXCEPTIONAL Service for our celebratory meal. James the Mgr. treated us to a COURTESY creme brulée desert. James also greeted us tableside and THANKED US for our business. The Fish Market & Top of the Market are both always AMAZING EXPERIENCES ! ! ! ! Rr

Lovely patio table - heat lamps made it cozy and ambiance was as expected. Training helicopter overhead for most of meal but didn't bother us as we love the “sound of freedom”!! Chowders were delicious. Calamari was really good with unexpected tempura bell peppers throughout. Would definitely go back again.

We chose Fish Market Restaurant because of two local recommendations. We were not disappointed! We asked for a table in the sun and we watched the sunset eating delicious seafood, and steaks. Service was cordial, attentive, and professional. We would eat at fish market again!

Excellent service and ambiance but the food could improve, I had a Halibut that was the recommendation on Chefs special but was reallyyy dry, I had to ask my kids for some of their pasta sauce ..fish and chips the fish needs more flavor, has none either the batter or the fish but needs flavor

The food was mostly delicious and the new experience of lavender lemonade was interesting. The location and ambiance were great though.

The food was very good, fresh sea food, well prepared. Service was efficient and unobtrusive.

Good food, good friendly service. Only complaint is that the food runner brought our entrees to the table while we're still eating our appetizers. They need to work on that timing.

The food was amazing. The service was impeccable and the location is my favorite restaurant of all time. I learned on this trip with the restaurant will be closing in two years for a completely remodeled, and it was very sad to hear. It should be left just the way it is as it is perfection.

Great service and atmosphere. The crab cakes were really good!
We sat outside on the deck and had a very enjoyable lunch.

Service is always impeccable. The food is exceptional. Their famous cheese bread is a must. The best swordfish I've ever had and I eat a lot of swordfish!
