Tried the grilled shrimp and grilled mahi taco today. Nothing good to say about either one. Very salty and smothered in a funky sauce. Not sure either protein was actually grilled?? Worst fish taco experience in San Diego for me. All that said the ambiance was great and the server recognised my disappointment with the taco and removed the fish taco from my bill. 5 stars for service, 1 star for food!! Must have ordered wrong??

Loved the spicy tuna tostada sadly the tacos… were totally inedible- covered in a mayo sauce and the flavors were all off, we ordered 3 and couldn’t eat them at all. Maybe the other stuff on the menu is good just not that.

I don’t understand why this place is not packed during the week. This place is amazing. Party of five and everybody loved everything. The fish broth they serve as an amuse bouche is bordering on existential. Oysters are amazing, ceviche delicious and the seafood soup (think a Mexican spin on bouillabaisse) is as good as every review says.
After a couple so so meals in San Diego this was a delightful surprise.
I found it in best in Little Italy San Diego in Eater magazine so don’t take my word for it. This one is really a must try…

Very quality food and drinks during Happy Hour. We had the spicy tuna and fish tostadas - the fish were very filling. We also had a quac which was fresh and the shrimp taco.
The margarita and mezcalita were also refreshing. Thanks to Gizeh for the great service

They get five stars because of the amazing Bebe. She is the most personable, charming server in Little Italy. She is as intelligent as she is beautiful, and makes you feel so valued as a customer. I always loved Fisher’s food but because of Bebe, it’s now my favorite restaurant.
