Food is absolutely amazing! We got two Kubwa plates with saffron rice, sweet jerk chicken, spicy jerk chicken, curry chicken and one other that I forget but again just amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough. This was our first time but will not be our last.

Everything is seasoned well, great balance of flavors. Chicken is still moist and the dark meat almost taste like steak the way he seasons it. The man behind the counter had good vibes that complemented the reggae. Next time i will get his name. 9/10 will eat again

This place was delicious! Don't let the negative reviews fool you. Yes, its not situated like a 5 star restaurant, but what you get in return is some quality, good tasting, and well portioned food. My daughter's shared a small platter and the wife and I a medium. It was more than enough food to share. Service was also friendly which was a plus. The lady serving was a little quiet (which some people might mistaken as rude behavior), but you can tell she was friendly and wanted to make sure we had a pleasant experience.

Excellent food! I don’t know anything about East Africa, but I had the saffron rice and eggplant and kidney beans with collard greens and LOVED the flavors. Cumin in there and a lot of other flavors. The guy who served it up was from Kenya! Wish a place like this existed near my home

One of the best unexpected meals I've had in 2024. Excellent flavor and quality ingredients, you can tell the food is made with passion. Put simply, just really well prepared food with lots of different main and side options to create your own plate.

The guys and I were at a nearby job and stopped here for a quick lunch. The food was tasty and hot ! Great place for. Quick bite. I wish I had a picture but we ate it so fast !

Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Best service I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time, I don’t normally write reviews but just had to let everyone know to try this place out! Was given free samples of both the chicken and juices without even having to ask. Seriously great food.

Found this place at San Diego December nights 2023 and fell in love. Went back today to check out the actual restaurant and the food is even better. Absolutely love this place and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier / helpful.
