We tried the sesame balls and scallion pancakes—they were absolutely delicious! Brandon and Aiden were incredibly sweet and attentive. The atmosphere had a great vibe, making the whole experience even better.

Had the beef rolls, pork over noodles, and Taiwanese beef noodles minus the noodles. Total comfort food. Authentic flavors, generous servings, fantastic service. Both Bella and Brandon checked in often and provided cheery and great service. Good vibes, great music, not your traditional Chinese restaurant. Well done!

The Beef noodle soup tastes like the ones we had in Taiwan. The star anise is not that strong. I really enjoyed it a lot. Popcorn chicken tastes authentic, too! Definitely coming back of I am craving for some Taiwanese food.

Not allergy-safe – major risk for food allergies ‼️
We informed our waitress clearly that my husband has a seafood allergy, yet he was served a dish topped with bonito flakes (which are fish-based). Thankfully, I tasted it first and caught the mistake before he ate it—otherwise, he could have had a serious reaction requiring an epi injection.
When I brought it up, the server said she had no idea bonito flakes contained fish. While they did remake the dish, this kind of oversight is dangerous. If your staff doesn’t recognize common ingredients that could trigger allergies, it puts customers at serious risk. Please improve your allergy training—this could have ended very badly.

My second time at formoosa and it was just as good as my first visit! The beef rolls are always a must they're the perfect combination of texture and flavor. We also ordered the yuzu lemonade, popcorn chicken, the mazesoba, and the sesame noodles. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and I'll definitely be coming here again!
