New manager. New food. All my favorite sushi rolls are gone?

Its now called ZZAN Convoy. I love this place, every employee is very nice. It’s a fun atmosphere and open late. Very fresh sushi they do nice presentations and there was even a flower on my plate. Ive been here twice and worth the drive. They have both Japanese and Korean food.

The sushi tasted like something was wrong with it. The “eggrolls” were delivered as theee spring rolls. Overall not good experience

Waited over 40 min when I was quoted 20 min for just a few basic sushi rolls and fried avocado (which was supposedly the reason for the long wait)- Unacceptable and ridiculous, no apology, and no effort to make things right at all. The sushi was sitting for way too long/got warm and the fried avocado was cold.Time to look for another late-night spot

This place will calculate your tip into the total amount, and I felt it they overpriced based on what they bought to the table. The service are bit slow and we waiting a long time to check in and check out. Two star is what I can give.

I ordered this on Uber Eats for late night cravings... I think I ordered around 11 PM. So sorry! I will say though this place was surprisingly great. Sometimes I get nervous ordering from a to go sushi place that's open until late, but the quality and packaging of everything was genuinely amazing. Thank you! My rolls were delicious and I'll absolutely be ordering again sometime soon :)

We went on a Tuesday night around 8 so it was a pretty quiet night. It may have gotten a little busier when we left around 9 - makes sense since they stay open much later than other restaurants in the area. We order a few appetizers, 2 rolls, a pitcher of Asahi, 1 large hot sake, 1 unagi order, and salmon skin hand roll. Total with tip was $140 for 2 people. We tended to pick higher priced item so I'm sure you can eat there for a lot less if you want a casual meal. Overall the quality of the food and portion size were good.

I wasn't expecting much to be honest. A lot of restaurants aren't open as late as they used to post-covid, and the waitlist at other places were super long. I visited this past Saturday evening and it wasn't very busy. Took perhaps 5 min to be acknowledged and seated, and the decor is cute. Ambiance is super casual but mature. Service was kind as well! I ordered the fried chicken (soy), 1 sushi roll, korean ramen & bulgogi. I think overall it tasted good! The chicken was juicy, crispy, and balanced sauce. I do feel like the menu, despite having some "discounts" is a bit still overpriced. Yes I know this isn't uncommon, especially with the inflation of our economy. But I don't think an appetizer size of takoyaki should be $10, or instant ramyun to be priced the way it was. Granted I did appreciate the additional fresh onion! And the portion of bulgogi was good. tl;dr: This place is solid and I'd be interested in giving this place another go! The servers were nice and my partner and I really appreciated how the server got our shared bowl of korean ramen and had them split into two bowls. A cute spot indeed but nothing that is particularly unique, and the price isn't very competitive.

First time trying this place tonight. I feel like I was ripped off. I paid 15.99 for greasy fried rice. It was in a reallysmall container. The shrimp and chicken are small little pieces. I just can't get over all the oil that's in the container. I threw it away. The teriyaki chicken... the chicken is full of fat. I'm so disappointed.

This place is everything! From the second I walked in they greeted me in such a warm way. The sushi is so fresh and the best in San Diego! Osvaldo and Nino make the best sushi and they are so kind and attentive. If I needed water or anything at all they were on it! Had a great experience overall!

Service was good. But the prices have changed a few times. This is the updated menu price.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I doordashed food from here for my late night dinner. Oh my God - the chicken wings were stale and had blood in it. I gathered the courage to open up the chicken bowl and just NO. It tasted and looked like bunch of old leftover stale chicken and veggies thrown together to make something out of it.I get it if you can’t make stir fry or wings this late at night - just cancel the order or don’t accept the request. Accepting the order and then sending over food unsafe to eat is a BIG NO. Big thumbs down ?

I come here for the sushi rolls and the happy hour appetizers! Good food and friendly staff & they’re open late :) if I’d have to pick, my favs here are the Jalapeño Bomb, Salmon Lover roll, Blue Hawaiian, and Jen rolls with a side of ponzu.

This place was really good! The chicken was extra crispy and had a great crunch and kick to it. My favorite was the two sushi plates on the left (dragon roll and something else, I forgot). 10/10 place first time trying it and didn't disappoint Great service too
