I liked my food but my wife was not impressed with the lumpia she ordered.

I especially sought out this restaurant as a tourist craving Filipino food. It did not disappoint for quick eats, Filipino comfort food. The pork adobo was delicious and there was a generous portion of Shangai lumpia and I could get the vinegar/garlic dipping sauce (which I grew up eating - no other way to eat lumpia in my opinion!). I tried the tamarind chicken wings and they were a tangy surprise! Also had the macaroni salad - Filipino style, like I had at family pot luck dinners. And the flan ube cupcake was heaven. I am super picky about my Filipino flan and this was silky perfection! The owner was there and served us and was super friendly. I recommend this restaurant! If you never tried Filipino food, Gaslamp Lumpia Factory is a good intro in a casual setting. Or if you are in need for a taste of Filipino stand-bys, or flavors you are used to with a twist, this restaurant will scratch the itch!

First time here in San Diego and at Gaslamp Lumpia Factory. I ordered 2 smashburger for $20 to go. The service was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics, but this was very delicious. I would love to hang out and karaoke the next time we visit San Diego.

We ordered from DoorDash, the pork Sinigang with rice and the meat was only three pieces and not enough vegetables! I wish they would have put more because it was the way I like it, specially the sourness! Yummy 😋 but of course we ordered lumpia and other stuff😍

Came with my family and quickly realized that whatever their definition of a pulutan bar is, is completely different from what I know. Usually pulutan is snack food served with drinks. Like sisig, bbq sticks, chicharon, dilis... etc what they serve at this restaurant and purely rice plates and random side dishes. (I should’ve checked yelp!) The shrimp tempura are the same exact ones you can get at Costco. Their corn beef is made from ox & palm and I seen the containers. It was lively when we attended, we were able to see the owners drink copious amounts of alcohol and sing karaoke while we scarfed down our food quickly to get out of there. I asked two different staff where the pan de sal came from and one said they baked in house while the other said they get it somewhere else.

We stopped in for a lumpia appetizer before hitting a taco spot down the street. Lumpia was good! Bartender was super sweet and she talked us into trying the red horse. Amazing beer!! Will be looking for it when I travel now. Thanks!

Excellent service, great food, fair prices.
The inside of Gaslamp Lumpia Factory was a vibe — lots of cool Fil-Am-inspired memorabilia that gave it heart and personality. We pre-gamed here before dinner and it hit the spot. The shrimp lumpia and wings were crispy and flavorful, and the Pinay Colada was smooth, tropical, and strong in all the right ways. Great spot to kick things off!
