Gelato Paradiso is one of the better dessert options available at the Headquarters of Seaport Village. They have plenty of gelato flavors to choose from, and they even have sorbet as well. You can choose up to four flavors to mix in your order which is much more generous than other places.I got a large fruit combination of peach and mango gelato which was so refreshing. I was even impressed by the plastic serving cup in which the gelato was dispensed. It was sturdy and not flimsy cardboard that some places use. You could chose a cone as the serving vessel, and that was pretty sizable too. My overall experience was good enough for me to rate this place with four stars.

Can't believe we just found out about this place. What a gem!! Pros: After having dinner with friends, my pregnant wife and I needed to find some ice cream. Mostly my wife but I was bound to get her ice-cream. When we got there, I decided to not get any. BIG MISTAKE. So ended up sharing the cookies & cream and dulce on a waffle. Instant regret. One of the most delicious ice cream of recent memory. Anyways, I went to use the men's room and by the time I got back, it was gone. Couldn't be too mad. Gotta feed the baby. Haha!! Con: Parking is terrible because it's downtown. There were some valets but we were able to find metered parking near the water and just walked over. Also the boy serving us ice cream had zero interest in being there. Poor customer service. Although we weren't allowed to sample due to coronavirus. Damn you virus!!! Damn you!!

If you want the purest, freshest and tastiest gelato then you have to try this place! My favorite is the Italian cream and hazelnut and blackberry chocolate chip. They also have a flavor of the month that we are excited to try each time. A must for the BEST gelato on the planet!

Gelato is one of those things that always seems like an awesome idea (and it is), but often loses it's excitement about halfway through. This was totally different! They have a ton of flavors here, so you are pretty sure you will find something you like (the mango was awesome). Plus, they were so nice about all of us wanting to sample a few before choosing. Bonus is that this place counts for Seaport Village validation parking :)

On a warm night strolling through seaport village we stumbled upon this cute little gelateria. I was curious and took a peek into the store and came out buying pistachio and chocolate gelato in a cup. I don't regret peeking in for I wouldn't of had been able to taste how delicious their gelato is here. If you're in the area make sure you drop by and get a few scoops. I recommend the pistachio!

Gelato paradiso has to be one of my favorite places to get gelato in the San Diego area! It is located inside the headquarters and is the perfect place to grab some gelato and go walk around seaport village to enjoy it. They have a lot of flavors, so be sure to take your time and sample some of their options because they have a lot of flavors. I always end up getting the strawberry cheesecake because it tastes exactly like the cake, and is honestly delicious with whatever other flavor you want to get! I ended up choosing the raspberry, which exceeded my expectations. The raspberry had a lot of fresh raspberries mixed into the gelato and was the perfect amount of tartness that mixed really well with the strawberry cheesecake. My dad got some sort of chocolate and mixed it with some of my raspberry and it was honestly perfect. I got the medio for $5.50 and it was easily shareable with another person.
