Went there to eat with my sister, and we got seated super fast, ALAN gave in exceptional service, got our food out so fast and kept on checking in on us and giving us recommendations on what to get for dinner. His service was amazing and my sister and I had such a good time and were very satisfied with the service and good food we got. THANK YOU ALAN. And thank you GEN BBQ HOUSE for such great food and service.

The food was great and the place was clean.
This was our first time being to a place like this. We didn't know how it worked, and our waiter didnt really explain anything to us. Just said to choose from the menu . It took awhile for us to figure it out and read the reviews online how the service worked.
While I did enjoy the food and cooking it ourselves, it would've been great to better communication with our server.

Been here a few times and I like it. Pretty similar to most Korean BBQ places, but this place has good prices. $21 for lunch or $31 for dinner (Aug 2025) and $20 to add the premium stuff which is waygi and others. I don't go for the premium stuff since the regular dinner menu gas 48 items. Tons to choose from! Pork belly, bulgogi, galbi, shrimp etc. Try it out if you're into Korean BBQ.

Wine marinated pork was a 1st time experience... I have to say it was very tasty. Kinda like a Hawaiian pork... sweet and savory to the last bit.

Had a night out with friends and LOVED the selection. Super glad we listened to our server and got the premium menu, the wagyu alone is worth it!!
It was pretty packed but our server Dereck was very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed. I highly recommend visiting, the service and food is amazing.

Overall a really bad experience from the moment we walked in. Hostess didnt even greet us let alone acknowledge us for about 5 minutes, while the restaurant was mostly empty. On our way to table we had to squeeze by bus carts filled with trash, which was a very common sight throughout the meal. Ive worked in several restaurants and bussed plenty of tables. No reason to empty multiple tables’ trash right there in the dining room and let it sit while people are eating. These bus carts were next to me a majority of my 90 minutes meal, with bussers mopping and sweeping next to me the remaining time. What are you thinking??
The music was crazy loud. Servers got our orders wrong many times and Im guessing that loud music plays a big part of that. I was a club DJ for 15 years. No reason to have music playing that loud, especially when its rap or otherwise very beat heavy cacophonous music. This is a restaurant and people want to talk with each other not listen to loud music.
The food was very bland. We spent $200 for 5 people and did not order any drinks.
Hate the online menus. The cellular service is so poor here its difficult loading the menu every time you want to order more plates.
Staff seems very checked out. Going through the motions to get food out and get your tips. The only employee who seemed to be doing his job was the food runner.
At the end of the day I can get over poor service and mediocre food. This restaurant just seems poorly managed in every aspect. Wont be going back.

Great food, good company, great place.
The customer service we received from Douglas was awesome. He was so helpful.
Beef bulgogi was delicious, tomahawk steak is a great last addition to the meal. Everything was delicious.

Terrible first experience. Was originally going to 356 and regret so much switching plans. Waited about an hour for The first round of rice a little over an hour for salad. We never got some of our appetizers two hours in.

Restaurantji Recommends
We came here for lunch since there was no wait and got seated right away, but that’s where the positives end. We had a party of 7 and were only allowed to use one grill, which made no sense, other KBBQ spots always let us use both. Cooking for 7 on one tiny grill? Come on.
Service was also disappointing. Our meat had already finished cooking, and everyone had taken bites before we were even served water, which took 20 minutes. Just look at the photos I shared, we've already finished most of the appetizers weve ordered and not a single glass of water in sight. Place was NOT busy for service to be this unacceptable. Will not recommend, please go somewhere else.

Our server TJ was being very nonchalant to us since we got to our table. He was very short, blunt and when we would thank him for taking our order he would walk away giving us no response. Our party size was about 4 people and we mentioned to him prior before ordering that we will be splitting the bill and he seemed upset that we asked for that request. We got there at 1:10, we weren’t even there for an hour and around 1:45 we were told we have a “last call” meaning that we could only order once more before we had to leave which was super odd, i thought the max time was two hours AYCE. Our food took so long to reach our table. This place is very hit or miss. It sucks because the vibe of this place is amazing but the servers can really affect the quality of your experience. Its Memorial day, its sad that my husband and brother in law who are both combat veterans who fought and were wounded for this country, had to experience this rude treatment in a place we thought would have exceptional customer service.
Took about 30minutes after sitting down to get our order in
Had to ask for my drink 5 times before I actually got it.
Server never would come back after 30 minutes to get my order again
Will not be coming back
Solid. Younger crowd. Better places out there, but this is a great place to go to, especially If you're new to KBBQ. AYCE available
If you're in the mood for an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ feast, Gen Korean BBQ House delivers a flavorful and exciting dining experience. With a massive selection of meats—including beef, chicken, and fish—as well as fresh salad, vegetables, rice..., there's plenty to satisfy every craving.
One of the highlights is the tableside grill, where diners can cook their selections to perfection. This interactive element adds to the fun, making it a great spot for groups or a lively dinner outing.
The atmosphere is high-energy, with a club-like vibe that sets it apart from more traditional Korean BBQ spots. On the night of my visit, a DJ was playing, further enhancing the upbeat ambiance. While the service was decent, it wasn’t particularly outstanding—servers were attentive enough but didn’t go above and beyond.
Overall, if you're looking for a vibrant and dynamic dining experience where you can enjoy an unlimited array of Korean BBQ favorites, Gen Korean BBQ House is worth a visit. Just be ready for a lively setting that feels more like a party than a quiet meal!
