Extremely slow and frustrating service. We waited over an hour to be seated after being quoted a 20-minute wait. The managers repeatedly told us they were just waiting for a table to finish and that we would be seated soon, yet another 30+ minutes passed, only for us to find out the table hadn’t even checked out.

Our server, Lucas, was absolutely amazing and the only positive part of the experience. Unfortunately, the managers were dishonest and dismissive. I was told I should have made a reservation, even though I had tried and was refused because reservations are only accepted for parties of 9 or more.

The food took a very long time to come out, and some dishes were forgotten. We were told my meal would be waived for my birthday, along with two soju towers, but these items were still added to the bill. We then had to wait even longer to get the charges removed.

The food itself is great, but the service, especially from management, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

VERY NICE!!! This place is fantastic - food is exactly what KBBQ should be, with huge portions and fantastic flavors (especially love their brisket, spicy pork bulgogi & the beef belly). The best part, however, was the absolutely brilliant service from Alex the manager and Bobby our server. Could not have been more attentive and SO much fun!!! Highly recommend this spot

Customer service was terrible, was put on the waiting list twice, we were forced to sit down with 2 random people. The server forgot about us and waited for food for about 40min. Until the manager was called and blamed the server that he forgot to have a backup server while he was away. Overall overrated and poor customer service… very unfortunate

While the food is still good, the service has gone downhill from the first time we went. The people are nice but not very attentive. We got stuff we didn't order but then didn't receive items we did and they only came around like 4 - 5 times the entire time for a group of 8. Took like 20 minutes to get flat beer just not worth going there anymore.

Disappointing. An order of bulgogi and soondubu took an hour and a half to arrive, and that’s a generous estimate. Other orders were also slow; some were completely forgotten while others were doubled when we’d only asked for one. Our scissors were taken away at some point and it took multiple asks to get a replacement.

Food was also underwhelming. Despite the long and varied menu, the pork cheek was the only bright spot in a sea of mediocre cuts. The table got three (three!) of the tiniest little dishes of banchan to share. Hotteok was undercooked, still half batter. Ventilation was atrocious, even by KBBQ standards.

No hate to the hardworking staff who were trying their best and for the most part remained friendly and gracious while rushing around, but to management: also judging by the other reviews, there are clearly some issues that need to be sorted out.

My wife & I had lunch at the Mira Mesa location. We always have the best experience there. The whole team there are over the top. The floor manager Alex & the server Nathen are totally phenomenal as well as the whole team. Awesome customer service. I give you my word if you go there to have lunch or dinner you will be back. Thank you to the whole team!!!

Just about the worst service you can get at a KBBQ ir AYCE place. We came in when it was relatively empty and there were five of us yet it took quite a while to get us seated. When we were seated, they only gave us utensils and plates for two and we had to wait another 15 minutes to get more. That should've been a warning of what was to come.

Our waiter was literally never seen again the rest of the night. We kept having to flag down multiple other people to get our orders in; busboys, other table's waiters, hostesses, etc. It was insane. The best service we got was from the busboy who seemed to actually want to help us.

Finally, after getting our orders in, we had to wait another 20 minutes to actually receive it. The craziest, most asinine part was they brought out the check literally after we received the first order of meat! We told them we barely started and the waitress just slapped the check down and walked away.

I know not to expect much service when it comes to these restaurants; I'm sure they just want you to get full while waiting but this was ridiculous.

I was given a few gift cards for this place for Christmas but I think I'll just ask to return them or resell them. I don't think I'll ever come back, especially since there are so many other better options out there.

Oh yeah, the food was mid. They removed the good options, beef portions were tiny and they only allow 4 orders at a time regardless of your party size, and don't expect any refills on your drinks or anything.

The table service was terrible. The first waitress assigned to us was in a rush to go on her break so she took down and delivered our order wrong. Throughout the whole time we were there, we were never checked on by any of the waiters, our orders kept getting forgotten to be put into the system/delivered, and the waiting time between orders was over 20 minutes.

Honestly, this place is a freaking joke. It takes absolutely ages to get Korean BBQ, meat - at least 30 minutes in between orders. However, they're pushing mediocre, filling appetizers and al carte cocktails quickly. Don't come here if you want actual Korean BBQ. Manna down the street is so much more worth it.
