Came here for 4 toasted bagels and cream cheese and waited 40 minutes. Staff seemed confused and it didn’t seem like they had a process down. Inefficient and doesn’t seem they are able to handle the business load (in store, online, and smoothie) with their current process. Also, waiting for bagels to be made because they can’t keep up with the production. Don’t recommend this place if you are in a hurry. Be prepared to wait.

Nice little local place for tasty bagels. Both indoor and outdoor seating with a laid back vibe allows for eating and chatting.

Grabbed take out. 3 bagels. Took 20 min to get after order. Got home and of the 3 bagels are wrong. They taste ok but super disappointing. Especially since the 2 bagels were supposed to be sweet and only one was and it was still incorrect. Kind of a waste to turn back around.

The best bagles!
Generally, if you get take outs just for bagels on a regular day, their bagels and spreads are decent. Unfortunately that was not the case for a dine in. I visited this place for a quick breakfast on the weekends. Order scrambled/golden bagel and onion bagel with garden vegetables spread. After waiting for more than 20 minutes and seeing people coming after us and leaving with their order, we asked about our order. The lady at the counter said and I quote “ it will come when it will come”. After another 15 minutes, we were told by them that they already had prepared our order and someone else might have taken it. I was gobsmacked. Then they said, none of the bagels we had order were available now. They replaced our bagels with a some horrible unappetising bagel and after 50 minutes wait, we left the place hungry because of the bagels and service we were given. No more golden bagel for me from now onwards.

Come for bagels they’re delicious. Try a smoothie, one of the best. Come back for lunch you won’t be disappointed.

Seems like it would be silly to gush over this place and its Bagels/Schmears, Bagel Sandwiches, Smoothies, etc....
Because the line to order food here is always out the door as it is!! 😳
(sometimes I wish everyone in town DIDN'T know it's well worth the wait 🙄🥯🤫🥯🤤)

The food is normally incredible, however the service can be horrible at times. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast on the go, this place isn’t for you. Today, I went in and ordered a golden scramble. An hour later, I received one. The system they use to read orders has some issues, as my number in line kept on moving further back. They constantly run out of not just bagels, but also every important ingredient like bacon and tomatoes. Overall, the food is great, but you run the risk of wasting an hour of your life standing in a cramped room.

This review is based strictly on the bagel itself and nothing else. First off, aside from the shape and appearance, this is not an authentic Jewish crafted bagel. Preparing bread dough, shaping it and boiling it for a couple of minutes, adding toppings and baking on a metal tray produces a round piece of bread, not a real bagel.
A real bagel has an outer skin you can peel away to reveal a gooey dough inside. The gooey dough is dense, not bread. The top and bottom should have a crunch to them, like a crusty rye bread. Lastly, the dough itself was just plain bland lacking any fermentation flavor from the yeast.
So if you want bread in shape of a bagel, fine. But calling this a bagel is like saying Dairy Queen is ice cream. That issue was settled years ago.

Big, fresh, delicious bagels! Be prepared to wait on the weekends, especially if you order an egg sandwich. Reasonably priced too!

This is a great local alternative to commercial bagel shops and offers a delicious mix of bagel sandwiches. We go here often and the staff is very friendly.

On god these are the best mf bagels I've ever had in my life. This place was my childhood!!! I moved out of state over 10 years ago and to this day I still think about the softness and deliciousness of their jalapeño cheese bagels!!!! Even now whenever I make a trip so SD it's a requirement for me and my family to stop here for the nostalgia and delicious food!!! Best darn bagels to have bageled! And the people have always been kind to me and my family when we come! Golden bagel 100 years plus!!!

You can place an order online. But they send you a second email with the time you can expect your order to be ready, and it's usually 20 minutes or more to make one bagel sandwich which seems excessive when you can walk into any other place and get it in 1/4 of that time. Then, there's no signage indicating where to pick up your order, but if you know where to go, you still have to wait for someone to catch your attention and then ask for your pickup order by name.
