This restaurant had amazing ambience, tasty gourmet food, and great service. We came for the thanksgiving buffet my husband, me and our 14 month old daughter. Our daughter has a severe egg allergy so we are very cautious about dining out. I was in touch with the managers via email leading up to the day and they reviewed with me safe dishes for her to eat. They were very helpful and took her allergy very seriously. Open arrival the server had a menu written out of safe dishes from the buffet my daughter could enjoy luckily it was most of them. And the manager I was emailing personally came to our table to make sure everything was okay. I really appreciated that as a mom that the staff was so helpful and took my daughters allergy serious. The view of the bay from our table was beautiful. The live music really set the vibe . The ambiance was great. And the foood. Oh my goodness. The adobo turkey was to die for, the seafood fresh, everything was great! And the value was unbeatable for the price as this was one of the most affordable in town! 5 stars! I think my family will personally be back as we were very happy with our experience!

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for allergies

Kid-friendliness: Staff was very nice and accommodating to my one year and my baby loved everything

Review is for Thanksgiving Buffet. A good variety of food from paella to tamales to sushi. Thought the swordfish and adobo turkey breast were excellent. Gingerbread stuffing was a little too sweet. Desserts, especially the pumpkin pie, were very good. Probably could’ve had a few more kid-friendly dishes.

Service could’ve been better and it seemed to take a while to get drinks. Also there never seemed to be enough dishes or glasses in the buffet area.

Otherwise a good value for a Thanksgiving buffet

Had breakfast there with the GF. Most everything on the menu is around $20, so not bad considering. I had the breakfast burrito, she had the steak and eggs benidicto. I thought mine was pretty good, she said her steak was tough. Marina views are really nice

Delicious!! We had the La Rumorosa omelet and it was amazing! Best omelet I've ever had! Wow, the flavors are so tasty, the service was excellent and the views are amazing! So happy we decided to dine here!

The food and presentation were good. The hotel ambiance was good. Unfortunately our service was extremely slow. While not packed, we had to wait 20 minutes for a server to come to our table — and only after we asked. One of us ordered a drink that didn't come with the server the next two times he came to the table. It took 2 reminders after the order for us to get that drink. After we provided our credit cards it took another 15-20 minutes to get the cards and slips back — despite the waiter going to other tables near us in the time. We wanted to love this place but the long delays ruined what would have otherwise been a great dinner.

Overall the food was good though some dishes were fives and one was two. The server was friendly and nice but the kitchen and bar was very slow and the timing was off. The restaurant is nicely appointed with nice views of the marina and it was a quiet space. Parking was easy and it was free for two hours with a restaurant receipt. Overall it was a good experience.

When we arrived for our reservation at 6:30 there was nobody in sight to seat us. Servers would walk around and not acknowledge us. We waited for at least five minutes and then. There was no sign telling us to come in and sit down or wait so we didn't know what to do. Finally, we gave up and walked in towards a table. We found about six people standing around talking, including what I assume was the manager. We picked our own table and sat down. It was a long wait before a server came to take our order. We ordered our drink appetizer and dinner all the same time because our time was a little bit limited. We received our appetizer and it wasn't until finished our appetizer that the drinks (wine) were actually brought to the table. The food was excellent, but the service was the worst I've seen in a long time. It looked like there was only one server serving 5 tables. I was without water and no server in site for most of the meal. I might come back for the ribeye which was excellent, but not sure I want to endure the wait. Since there were a lot of hard surfaces in there,It was very loud even with only five tables being filled. Live music was too loud and too upbeat for dinner. I couldn't hear what my husband was saying so we had to scoot the chairs together. Overall- for a meal that was over $200 for two people, I can get better service elsewhere..

Great dining experience for both dinner and brunch. I was happy they were open late and had lots of options available. The weekend brunch was amazing but Sunday's was exceptionally delicious. I visited the restaurant four times during my stay in San Diego it was that great! Five stars the service and staff was amazing no complaints.

To cut to the chase, the service sucks! Two weeks ago I brought a friend for dinner and drinks. We were promptly sat at a small table next to the windows overlooking the marina, and just as promptly forgotten about. It took about 15 minutes to finally be greeted by our waiter who took our drink order. Everything was very slow. He brought out drinks and then asked about appetizers. We ordered 3 to share. Got them, then he didn’t come back. Our drinks were empty, our appetizers almost gone and we hadn’t yet ordered the entree we wanted. By the end we just wanted to leave but had to wait for the bill as well. Aside from the service, the food we had was excellent as were the drinks and the restaurant is beautiful so I thought maybe it was an off night and would try again.

This weekend we put two friends up in the hotel for the night. We met them for breakfast Saturday morning at Rumorosa. They told us they tried to have dinner there the night before but that after they were seated, nobody ever acknowledged them. They left and went to Brewery X.

Which brings us to breakfast. It was busy so I had high hopes but again service was lacking. It took a long time for everything. When our waiter finally did approach, he had coffee on hand and served those at the table who wanted coffee. Two of us wanted alcohol and expressed that and he chuckled but then walked away. It was another 10 minutes until he came back to take our food order and I had to remind him about the rest of the tables’ drinks first. I ordered a mimosa and when it came there was bright red lips still imprinted in lipstick on the rim of the glass. Got a new glass. The entire time we didn’t feel attended to, never asked how our meals were and were not offered drink refills.

We are pulling for this restaurant to be great as the food really is good and it’s atmosphere is a breath of fresh air! It’s very close to our boat to walk over and entertain guests, but if the service doesn’t improve soon we’ll just continue going to Ketch and C Level where we’ve always had great experiences.

Our reservation was at 8, the hot buffet items were barely warm. Omelette was good, and fruit was not quite ripe. The waiter tried to charge us $7 more a person until I showed him the text message showing the price. Way overpriced for what you get!

They claim to have brunch from 8am to 1:30pm but they only have regular breakfast and lunch. Extremely disappointed

It wasn't very busy and we had two tables reserved and it took the hostess getting a manager to make the decision to put us together, I think one other party came in after us, it was dead. Live music was supposed to be till 10pm but ended at 7pm right after we got there. The service was just ok nothing great, the food was just alright so how expensive it is you would think it would be amazing. Not a lot of menu options either. Overall just another hotel restaurant trying to be upscale but it's not working out.
