I was a regular until I got food poisoning here. I went for a late breakfast and the yellowtail tasted off.

Husband ordered us Two plates and they were good. The Mac salad was cool, reg basic flavor. The poke compared to a lot of other places was nice & fresh. It does have a little park outside that you can eat at , but being surrounded by business buildings it’s a little meh for me. Past that though , poke quality was good.

Absolutely one of my favorite Poké spots here in San Diego. Freshly made every day, with a variety to select from. Not only do they serve fresh Poke, they also have hot foods made fresh from the kitchen. Best part, the left over poké goes on sale for 50% off the next day. Enjoy!

Fantastic poke spot with a hot grill and fish counter. These guys are super friendly and put out some of the best poke in San Diego. I can't speak to the hot food because I've never gotten past the poke. The secret is out about these guys with a good size line every lunch rush.

Hawaiian Fresh has really went downhill over the years, especially with the expansion. The food quality is a real hit or miss, not to mention their inconsistent availability when it comes to spicy salmon. When they do have it in stock, it’s usually not salty or flavorful enough, everything feels rushed now a days.I waited 25 minutes in line and only moved two steps before deciding to leave. This has happened to me on multiple visits, and for poké that’s not even the best in San Diego anymore.HF needs to get their act together, inconsistent food, slow service, and poor attention to detail are ruling me out as a customer and folks I typically visit here with.

Best poke and sashimi. Grilled fish choices also really good. Highly recommend. Usually pretty crowded. New location has a lot of outdoor seating.

Random spot in a business park. Really slow long lines for poke but def feels like u get a lot of good fish for a fair price. Classic hawaiian poke aka not a billion toppings like we see more often. I actually got it with wonton chips bc i just wanted some chips lmao but it was pretty good so no complaints there.

Great poke. Busy, 25 min wait in line at 1230pm. Little inside seating. Outside is nice in good weather. Love the selection, eager to return and try something else.Parking: Construction has eaten up some parking, and the spots are a bit tight, but available.

4.5 My group ordered two plates with 6 different scoops of Poke and Poke Nachos. The poke was enjoyable and good and the best authentic poke you're probably gonna get in the SoCal Area. Really made me miss Poke from Hawaii. Honestly, ordering at the end of the day I'm going to assume most of their bolder flavors ran out so nothing stood out too much but it was solid and great quality fish. The nachos were a little too saucy for me but packed a great punch of flavor and an enjoyable spice level. After the end of the meal I felt like it would be a wasted opportunity not to try something off their food menu so I wanted to order the Ahi Kama, but the cashier gave me a heads up that it takes 20 minutes to prepare and I didn't want to wait that long, so I only ordered the Steamed Bao Bun w/ Ahí Belly. Granted it was slightly busy so I ended up having to wait 15 minutes or so anyway and was getting nervous about whether it would be worth it. But let me tell you, it was WORTH IT. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the cut that was in the bun. It wasn't huge but it wasn't skimpy. It was beautifully plated with a good portion of sauce and garnish and when I picked up the bun I could immediately tell the bun was going to be good. The ahi was perfectly cooked, so soft but with a bite, the bun was steamed perfectly, neither hard and dry nor was it soggy. And the flavors worked so well together. I would go back for the bao. And now feel like the Ahi Kama would probably worth the wait, too. Can't wait for my next visit to SD. Also, I forgot to take a photo! So I'll have to go again to update with a picture

Salmon harasu is delicious. Ahi's belly requires a bit of processing time. POKI tasted as good as I expected, though.

I think I have an addiction to HFS poke. I come here at least twice a month to enjoy their fresh fish, generous scoops, crunch nori, and warm rice. The last time I went, I also tried some of their kitchen-prepared foods. The ceasar salad with grilled garlic shrimp was yummy but not remarkable. The spam musubi was delicious and big but unfortunately $4 each. I could probably make like 6 musubis for that price. In terms of poke, my ranking is as follows:1. Garlic salmon2. Cilantro mayo ahi3. Miso salmon4. Pearl Harbor ahi5. Shoyu ahi6. Yellowtail7. Furikake salmon8. Avocado salmon
