I love their pizza!! The service is always warm and friendly. Wings are great too. It's getting a little cold for the open air side of the restaurant.

This past Sunday, we wanted to try a new place. The door wench here has no sense of humor and a miserable disposition. She made it very clear that dogs are not appreciated at this establishment.
SO, We went to Uptown Tavern instead and had a fun time where Winston was welcomed by both staff and customers.
The food, atmosphere and clientele were exceptional at Uptown. If you have a pooch, suggest Uptown instead!!

I'm lucky to be within walking distance of HBC. The menu is simple comfort food, but with imaginative twists. Great pizzas, great wings, and great beer. We enjoy trying the monthly specialty pizzas. I especially enjoy the Banana Hammock beer.

Great local vibe; friendly staff; excellent food that's reasonably priced. HBC is our favorite local haunt and we highly recommend it!

Best wings and ranch!
Don't come here if you want to vibe, they are rude. They have no customer service. Honestly very disappointed with this establishment. It seems like the people who work here don't want to do their job. Walked in and walked out.

This place is a great addition to Hillcrest. Lots of evenings have started and concluded here. The food is consistently good, and the full bar doesn't doom me to having a beer. The service has always been good, but lately I've noticed a push by some of the wait-staff to move a group of people to a larger table. Sometimes you just want to stand by some friends for a couple minutes before moving along to the bar, but immediately a worker tries to get the party to move to a large table and all get tabs going. Can't blame the wait-staff too much, but it really interrupts the social environment. That being said, I'd add HBC is probably the top choice for food on that side of Hillcrest. Pretty central and close to most events: Pride, street fairs, etc.
Parking: Parking lot is free, immediately street parking is paid, and maybe a block away in every direction is free parking.
