I love this place! The food is great and the happy hour menu is awesome. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The two female bartenders (the one with tattoos and the one with long curly hair) are my faves. Great vibe

Been to this spot a bunch and always had a great experience until last night 8/31. Went in for dinner and the service was very interesting to say the least... Both servers that helped out seemed off and honestly might have been on drugs. They kept bringing us things that were meant for the table behind us, legit 5 times. Ordered a garlic edamame but they brought out the spicy one... Noticed afterwards just garlic was not on the menu but would have preferred them telling us that as neither of us wanted it spicy. We also got one of the smallest pours of wine I have ever seen that we even laughed with the server and they just brushed it off. The food was not great last night, although every other time it has been amazing. Ordered the Bomb roll that had WAY too much sauce that the sushi got soggy and just fell apart by the time it got to us. Our other roll was good but cold - Hot Mess. The two regular girls that I have seen work in there were not there last night and after last night, I dont think I will be back.

This place has gone downhill and the workers here are gross. The old bald power bottom with that gross unsanitary mustache is actually disgusting

Not everybody cares about atmosphere, but I do. Very loud music, blasting out to patrons, 90’s alternative or male-oriented classic rock. No sushi counter. Guessing the chefs are playing their own Spotify playlists to entertain themselves, but why not just put a big ol’ speaker in the kitchen, not blasting us poor City College professors and students? To be fair, each time we go, we ask them to lower the volume and change the music and they oblige. Lowering it from very loud to medium loud. Sushi is good, staff pleasant. Wooden benches, are a bit hard. Hoping they will read this and put speakers at the bar and kitchen instead of at the tables. We desperately wish there were additional food options within walking distance of City College that had better atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience here with Sidney!!! She was helping us and giving us the legit best service I’ve had at a restaurant in YEARS. She is so kind, welcoming, detailed, caring and efficient. This review would have gotten a 5 stars but there is a man who works here as well who appears to be the manager. He presented very unkind to us and it felt like we were a burden to serve and support. He has an off putting energy and seems annoyed all the time.
Overall the food is genuinely INCREDIBLE. And the service from most of the workers is good. Sidney is top tier and we have 10x better experience when she’s there. Other than that the whole place gets 4/5.
Go during happy hour the price is definitely worth it !

Great food, back room was perfect for family. Staff was friendly & chefs prepared vegan dishes for daughter who's allergic to seafood & soba noodles for toddlers.
Parking: Street parking is limited.
Kid-friendliness: We were the only ones in the backroom (although there were other tables there). There was ample space for kids to roam around. We would not have let the kids roam around if other patrons were there.
This place has great sushi and a large selection. I enjoyed all my dishes and they have a good happy hour on Sunday. The staff was super friendly too. They had good tunes on as well.

The place itself is okay. But PSA there's a guy who sits on the patio catcalling, leering at, and trying to touch women as they pass by
