It just breaks my heart I've left this pizza since my daughter went to school down here.We got 2 delivered they forgot just once small little detail the cheese 0 no cheese. I called insistent that they but cheese but it is 0 cheese.I won't be going back .

Out of town and looking for a NY style cheese pizza. This place is great! New owners are working hard to bring it back to top notch in the area! Got a few slices for me and the kids and knew I could eat a 20” to myself! Super this crust, flavorful sauce, perfect cheese portion to compliment.My 5yr old accidentally knocked over a gallon of pain and they refused my offer to pay for the paint, so I just kept ordering and tipping! Excellent customer service!I’ll be back next time we are in town, because beer and pizza is my life too!

If you enjoy NY style, “foldable”, slices , you can’t go wrong w Hoboken Pizza. Definitely an East coast style pizza joint near PB. Place gets crowded but our take out was hot and ready as planned. Staff was friendly and food was delicious. Will 100%

Have loved these guys since they opened. And though many pizza places in California try to do east coast pizza, whenever I'm inside there I really do feel like I'm in the tri state area. Can't recommend them enough. And every time we've had some special request for them, they've really come through.

Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint recently concluded its final days of service over the past weekend after 20-plus years in the PB neighborhood. It was a local divey spot that specialized in selling pizza (thin crust or Sicilian) by the slice. Prices ranged from $3.90 to $4.94 depending on the type and toppings. Beer was categorized into three tiers and sold by the pint or pitcher. Some menu specials were available like ordering two slices plus a beer or soft drink. You could even order an entire 16" pizza. The seating was a combination of booths along the walls and tables in the middle of the room. At the service counter were several pizza pies on display. I ended up selecting one thin crust and one Sicilian slice with each containing pepperoni as a topping. The worker placed the slices on separate paper plates and loaded them into a brown bag to go. I took the pizza and ate it while waiting in the parking lot of a supermarket. They were not greasy like I have experienced with some local pizza places. The quality was average for the price. I read that a new ownership group will be taking over the space but keeping it as a pizza shop. Thank you to Hoboken for your business, and we look forward to the successor soon.

Sad to see this neighborhood staple go! Delicious thin crust pizza and reasonably priced. Mr Pesto is the best with big dollops of ricotta and tons of flavor. Their stuffed shells and meatballs are a hit too. Hopefully the new owners keep the same menu and recipes
