Service was amazing. But the chicken was really overcooked.
Pt2. Ordered Korean Chicken again.
Chicken is extremely dry still. The sauce to dip the chicken in doesnt even save it. Hard to eat because its so dry. Only ate 1/3

We were thrilled to discover this restaurant! Our go-to Hawaiian spot recently shut down, so we have been on the hunt for a replacement. Homestyle Hawaiian may become our new go-to. We loved that they offer table service. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server offered descriptive recommendations while taking our order. They offer a selection of tap beers and bottled wine. The portion sizes are hearty, and the pricing is fair. The kalua pig combo plate was delicious. It was served with rice and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was exactly what I was looking for as far as taste. The spam musubi was the only thing we didn't enjoy. The spam was overcooked. We will definitely be back and recommend this location!

The plates of food that I grabbed were both delicious but there it still more to explore to give a better rating. The service was very great food came out literally withing minutes of ordering. No wait time to sit down also. The decorations around the restaurant gave great Hawaiian vibes.

Love this place. I had the Big Brudda combination. It was delicious and I'm taking leftovers home. They have a great beer selection, Kona Big Wave is wonderful with this meal. The atmosphere takes me to Hawaii while we're here. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Korean chicken and Teri beef. Chicken was decent. But the beef was horrible. Tasted old and the meat was so tough it couldn’t be cut by a knife let alone chewed. Food tasted old as well. Later on me and my fiance had the worst stomach aches and other stomach issues… Homestyle Hawaiian is really good but I recommend any other location. This one was the worst experience we’ve had. Won’t return.

Headed back to @homestylehawaiianogsd when we were in San Diego! It’s as good as ever. The fried chicken was fried perfectly and it was such a big portion! We had the fried spam musubi too which is a must-try! Don’t forget to get yourself some malasadas too! They were so sweet and fluffy. Perfect end to the meal. Great service and ambience too!

My favorite Hawaiian spot in San Diego. The kalua pork galbi ribs are phenomenal. And seriously I need the recipe for the mac salad. Good local beer selection, too. I love this place for a quick lunch.

Pretty mid, kinda pricey for what you get. L&L is better.

Google says open, their open sign is on. Clearly closed, just drove 10 miles for nothing
